Yep, I got it and I sent you a PM back. :goodvibes

Junior & I are off on Monday but the kids have school. That's why we wanted to do this tomorrow so we could do something together as a family. I wanted to head over to Navy Pier too. And maybe walk along the lakefront. We've never been up in Chicago on a nice day, we always go in the winter. Yeah, we also wanted to use the WishMeister's coupons!

You can always try it and see what happens. Just stay on the West side of downtown and you should be ok. Might be hard to get over to Navy Pier, but what the heck, try it anyway. The store is cool, don't get me wrong, but I honestly was not that impressed. :flower3:

I believe tomorrow is the last day of voting for the Cute Kid Contest. Lilly slipped to 10th place today.:sad2: So we need all the votes we can get. Hopefully she can make a comeback tomorrow. Thanks for all your votes, thus far.

Haha, so wokeup checking the boards skimming in a haze and so thought this was a reference to juniors post on showering. :rotfl2:

T-shirt on pirate night?? Especially when it is talk like a pirate day?? I dare say an exception needs to be made! pirate:

Good Morning everybody! At the Blue Crew Lot tailgaiting Football Sundayand one more week closer to the cruise :cool1:

Off to take my dogs to outside agility. They live it! They missed a few weeks when we were down at WDW in Sept. Started additional reads to help me prepare for the cruise. At Castaway, what excursions do you recommend?

I need a little advice. I am trying to convince my husband to do the B2B because it is doable price wise, but we would not be able to get the same room. What are some of the other benefits? I am sure that if I just get the right angle, he would agree?
Thanks

Oh and double the pleasure double the fun.

HI MARSHA!!!!! How are you doing? Thank you so much for keeping track of the :bride: & pirate: Now that Junior and Wally joined the DISboards, they make it almost impossible to keep up on this thread! :rotfl2: Ian hasn't been around much lately...he must be busy gardening or planning a shark stunt for Terrie. :scared1:

Hi Debbie! We are doing alright here. Each of us has some variation of a cold. We are just trying to relax and get better before the work week starts.

I noticed that Ian has not been posting much. He is waiting to the end to sneek up on everyone and claim the prize.

Terrie volunteered Wally for getting the prizes for the persons with the most :bride: & pirate: but I think he might be getting a prize for himself or his BFF Junior.

GOOD MORNING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,
BOYS AND GIRLS!
WE SET SAIL IN 49 WEEKS! THAT IS 343 DAYS!

It's nice to see someone else as nuts about pirates as myself! :lmao:

I agree!!! I am glad to see that I am not alone in my pirate: world

I don't remember the name of it, but it was good. It was at Top of the World Lounge at BLT. Shawn & Milford and Terrie & Wally you guys were with us....do any of you guys remember the name of that drink?

Nope, but "thank you I will have two please" sounds like a good name :thumbsup2

I like the name mr. Happy and I would like one or two please!:woohoo:

LOL Great Minds think alike

I don't remember the name, but I do remember the TASTY flatbreads they had there. Speaking of which...It's making me Hungry.

I swear he would eat in his sleep if he could

Terrie & I just got back from watching Secretariat. For some reason, the movie made me want to run around a track really really fast :lmao:

Huh, that's odd..the movie made me want to ask you for a horse for Christmas :lovestruc

then COLDSTONEs ice cream...

Yeah, I cheated...diet schmiet. Can't say no to Coldstone :worship:

I Went ahead and purchased my pirate custome today- so I can be in a pirate mood for the party. For the Disney store in Chicago- the address is Block 37 shops
1 West Randolph
312-269-4776

If you go, let me know how you like it. We live in the suburbs.

Woo Hoo!!! Can't wait to see your costume :thumbsup2

Please do not laugh at me, but I have yet to figure out how to post pictures. I love all the fancy things eveyone does as well. Probably by the time the cruise comes along, I may master this.

Oh no worries, every single one of us started on the DIS not knowing how to post pictures I'm pretty sure. Here are the instructions I have Ian last year and now he is an expert and even posts photoshopped pictures that strike terror into my heart. Gratitude for ya, huh
1. Upload the pic of your choice to photobucket
2. After the pic has resized, go to your album, below the pic that you would like to post, there are 4 different codes (email & IM, direct link, html code & IMG code) Click in the box that has the has the IMG code. It will look something like this http: xxxxxxxxxxxxx
When you click on that box, it will light up in yellow or blue, and say "Copied"
3. In the thread on the Dis (in another open window), click on "post reply". When you are ready to post the pic, right click - a box will open, click on paste. This will paste the link that you copied from your photobucket account.
4. Post reply. The pic should show up!
Wow! You're not excited about the pirate party or anything, are you? :rotfl: I'd REALLY like to get one, but as Junior already mentioned, he just wears a t-shirt for pirate night, so unless I can change his mind, I guess I'll be in a t-shirt, too.
Debbie you should dress up if you want to! I'm sure Junior wouldn't mind. Ian dresses up and Laura doesn't and both of them seem pretty cool with it. I am sure you know that if Wally refused to dress up for Pirate Night there is NO chance whatsoever that I would even think about not dressing up. Heck I am still toying with the idea of being the only one dressed up for MNSSHP and there are 6 of us! Hey maybe if you did he'd get enthused too and might consider it? Julio????

I agree :cheer2: This year an exception does need to be made :thumbsup2 I mean, what are the odds of pirate: night for the SSMC11 landing on the same day as International Talk Like A pirate: Day :cool1:

Do you do agility for fun or do you compete at trials? What breed do you have? Disney (dog in my signature pic) and I did train for a while and we have a couple of legs toward his NA/NAJ titles but I was more focused on conformation. He does have several agility titled kids, including one with a MACH2 though.

Ah I can think of a few. First, you would have a 3 day advantage over those cruising the Dream for the first time. Therefore, you can choose to do the normal activities they have on the cruise beforehand and save the DVC special activities and guests for the 4 day and not have to choose between one activity or another during the 4 day. 3 days at Castaway Cay is always better than 2 days. SO if you really wanted to do several excursions you have more time. You can book Palo and/or Remy on the 3 day and not feel like you might be missing out on something with one of your dining rotations on the 4 day. You will have the opportunity to visit Nassau and go gamble on the 3 day which you won't be able to do on the 4 day. There is simply no way to try EVERYTHING on the menus (not even Wally can do it) so you get to try more stuff during didning since you are visiting the restaurants multiple times. It takes 5 cruises to reach the Gold level of the Castaway Cay Club which brings with it certain perks and going B2B knocks 2 cruises toward Gold out of the way in fail swoop without adding additional airfare/hotel expenses. Which obviously makes it more cost effective to crusie B2B than to book two cruises separately :thumbsup2 There are enough nice people on here doing B2B (including us) that would be happy to let you store your luggage in our room)
We are very excited to be going on our first member cruise. Looking forward to meeting other DVC members and spending the 2 days at Castaway Cay!
Hi there :wave2: and :welcome: aboard! Please feel free to join in on the fun here!
