Thanks for the friendly welcome!

Is everything on board pretty structured, or is it fairly loose other than dinner and the show seatings?

There is structure but it is really how you want to make your trip for you :goodvibes You wil receive a Navigator in your stateroom every evening detailing what is available (entertainment/presentation) the following day with locations and start times and approx end times. You can fill your day and evening up running from one activity to another if you like. It is impossible to do everything so pick and choose what you want. Or, you can hang out relax by the pool/beach with no schedule or no watch and do absolutely nothing at all. :thumbsup2

I am totally considering it as well. My husband and I are both teachers. It is just so hard to take time off from school. We only get two personal days a year. I would love to do a B2B.

FYI: Just bought our Pirate Costumes today!!!

Wow! Only two personal days! Yikes!

We want pics of your costumes!

:thumbsup2

Ya know, Terrie, I really like the way you think. You are completely right about Thrusdays.

:lmao: Add to the fact that the cruise is in September so it's the beginning of the school year and at that point it is mostly review of everything they forgot from last year over the summer! So they are no where near mid-terms, finals, or the end of their first 9 week grading period! Sounding better???

We only get two personal days a year. Kelly:teacher:

Well you do work in a school. Schools are full kids. Kids are always sick and get each other sick. It would be such a shame if the kids got you sick the Thursday and Friday right before you were going on vacation...cough....cough....hack....cough.

My first year teaching I got pink eye twice, strep throat once and only had a few days off from the cold I caught that seemed to last all year  Oh the joy of Kindergarten :sad2:

You are hilarious!! I often get "sick" as well. In fact, I will be sick a few days in January. We are staying at OKW right after the New Year. I am hoping I can figure something out. :yay:

Oh, I am sure you will figure something out. There is always "jury duty." My "Aunt Matilda" has had several funerals throughout various places of employment over the years. You were at a wedding and are stuck in "pick a state/country with inclement weather" and your flight has been cancelled.

Hi Debbie! We are doing alright here. Each of us has some variation of a cold. We are just trying to relax and get better before the work week starts.

Marsha - I hope you are all feeling better soon!

Anyone else notice the dream 2011 Meet Link sticky thread skips right over this date?
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2285266

The nerve!!! :rotfl2: Maybe it's a good thing nobody else finds this thread. Imagine how hard it would be to keep up with twenty more people on here! :scared1: :rotfl2:

So far we have Parasailing, now Eco Jetski Tour, both of which sound solid to us! Who's with us?? :thumbsup2

Anymore suggestions :worship:

We enjoyed the bike riding. I know that really sounds like a strange thing to do on vacation, but it's actually fun to ride a bike on CC!

I could easily do parasailing again! But I am not getting on a jet ski in the ocean. Ian told us that there is a part where you get off and into the water at a sandbar :scared1: SO not happening!

Really - you don't have to get off the jetski. I stayed on it....I don't like being around fish either, and I really enjoyed the jetski's.

Jet Skiing IS Awesome!!!

Terrie, you don't have to get off if you don't want to. None of us did when he stopped. We did get off on the other side of castaway cay on the beach. That was cool to get a different perspective of the island!:thumbsup2 but you still didn't have to get off the ski.

Don't worry about your phobias, they won't come into play!!

Ditto

To all B2B 'ers....check out my signature for the DVC Double DREAM'ers logo...if you like it...you're more than welcome to use it....right click on logo...save link info and paste into your signature.

Just booked cruise before SSMC11, so We are officially B2B:cool1:

:yay::yay::yay:

Stacey has found some super awesome people who completely customize fish extenders as well as Pirate costumes (different people). She has been doing her due dilligence in research (online window shopping and asking tons of questions to find the best customizer). Once things are more solidified info will be shared!

Just felt like sharing how my DW is spending her time the past few days :thumbsup2

Awesome! Can't wait to find out more from you! :goodvibes

Let me know what you think of the store. I was talking to Debbie about it last night. We went yesterday. Have fun!!

I agree with you, it's very small....I was expecting something a little bigger. And as far as "interactive" ummmm...an interactive video screen and an interactive mirror. I wasn't that impressed.

The one neat thing was where the kids can build their own car from the movie Cars. So, DS wanted one and since it's his b-day on Wednesday, we told him that's his b-day present. He was fine with that. It's a cool car!! He chose Lightning McQueen, but it's a charcoal color.

Thanks for the friendly welcome!

The cruise is entirely what you make of it. There are activities going on all day long for you to choose from. You can stay busy all day or you can relax by the pool all day. The only things that are scheduled for you are dinner and show times and breakfast on the last morning.
