I'm too tired to argue with myself to move the posts along. I don't know where got the energy to do that Dan.
It wasn't energy, Junior... It was boredom. Had to take a bit of time to get past that 40 second bit. Got tired and :bored: waiting for it to pass by.

I guess I'm just very easily amused.

A very sad day for me today. I just found out one of my students drowned in his apartment complex's pool on Friday....he was only 10 years old. :sad2:
I am in complete shock and feel sick to my stomach. He was such a sweet boy who made so much progress with me. I adored him. This is just so much for me to take in right now. I will really miss him.

Heres a post from that other thread:

The only problem with that thread is that there is so much "in crowd" chatter it becomes impossible to actually find any useful information.

I thought it was kinda funny!
That is fairly true. There have been some pretty good things posted from this group, but they tend to get lost in between the smileys, and one liners. These threads would be a rather daunting task to read from start to finish.

Kelly - I am so sorry. :grouphug:

Don't really know how to respond but I know you want to hear something to make you feel better. It's tragic, tragic things happen all the time. You see them on the news but we aren't close to those people to feel it in your heart. This is a child that you poured your heart in to and shared a bond. I would hug Lilly a little harder and enjoy her company a little more. Life throws crap your way at times and it sucks. You gotta persevere and cherish what you have and have done, especially with him. You deal with a lot of kids that are missing attention in their lives, maybe this child thought more of you than just a teacher. Maybe he thought of you as an older friend helping him to learn. In other words, you may have been a shining light in what otherwise may have been a dark world. You do what you can to change lives. Its just sometimes, by tragic events, those lives are cut short. Hope this helps and take care of yourself.

I'm going home in 5 minutes but what am I supposed to do when I get there. Still no power. No TV, No Computer. :scared1: Talk you all if we get power back tonight otherwise I'll have to catch up tomorrow.

I read that too and thought it is what you make it!!!

Let see.... Michael and I are not even DVC members and we have been welcomed by a very wonderful group of people!

We may not all participate as much as others, yet I still don't feel that there is an "in crowd". So like I said earlier, it is what you make it so make the BEST of it!

I wonder why at CC the weather just doesn't seem as HOT!! Is the company we keep, the drinks, what could it be? I say we all just move there!!!!!!!!!!

Its the weather machine Disney keeps hidden on the back side of the island. :rotfl2:
