I hear her Highlander series is really good.

Yup. Finished all 5 in a week. So glad I didn't discover the series while she was writing it. I would have been in agony waiting two years for Shadowfever to come out. As it is, I finished book 4 at 2 am on a weeknight and went to bed crying over Barrons. Went to work sleepy, emotionally drained and absolutely miserable the next day and couldn't get home fast enough to start the last book I'm going to see if Wally will read well, listen actually to it too. He already finished the BDB series and is almost finished with Larissa Ione's Demonica series. I was thinking Psy/Changeling next for him to listen to

I really liked the Highland Series. If you read it, you'll recognize some of the characters.

I have just one more left of the BDB series. I still have to read the latest Anita Blake and Stephanie Plum. Then I'll have to get you to recommend a new series for me to get sucked into.

Hi everyone! Just poppin in to say HI! I gotta get my house cleaned so I can enjoy the three day weekend!

We went to the water park today. I was very surprised that it was busier today than it is on the weekends. I guess a lot of day cares and summer camps go during the week, which makes it a whole lot more crowded. We had a great time! Did the wave pool, the bowl slides, two other slides, the lazy river, and then some slides again. Stayed pretty much from open to close. Got my THIRD sunburn so far since Memorial Day. YEAH! Gotta love the sunburns. Kids didn't get burnt though....I put sunscreen on me and Emilee...Brandon took off so I didn't get to put any on him. He takes after Junior and just gets a really good tan during the summer after his first burn. So, no burn for him, but I still wish he would have let me put sunscreen on him...it blocks the bad rays...and we already had a melanoma scare with him once. (turned out to be nothing but TWO pediatricians were concerned enough to send him to a dermatologist)

Anyway, I hope you're all having a great night. Oh...we're having thunderstorms AGAIN! That has become a daily occurrence here in NW Indiana. It's actually surprising when there ISN'T a thunderstorm!
