Update...
The Parrot Head Gathering is officially being considered by DVC as an recognized Members Cruise event. I got to present the idea to the DVC marketing executive
commitee by phone today. They thought the idea had merit and is now on their planning agenda. The committee will be finalizing the special events for our cruise this month and will be back in touch with me on whether our Parrot Head function gets included as a cruise event. The next step is for DVC to present it to DCL for approval since DCL owns Castaway Cay. I will keep everyone informed on the progress. A little pixie dust would be nice to help push this forward.

It helped that the CM at members service I spoke with initially is a Parrot Head and she set up my phone meeting with DVC marketing. Keep your fingers crossed everyone:thumbsup2

That's FANTASTIC !!!

Jennifer, as a medical professional I know that you completely understand about self-diagnosis every time you get sick. I laugh at how all of the EMS, Nurses, etc always diagnose themselves instead of seeing a doctor, yet reprimand our patients for not seeking help sooner :rotfl2:

Well, lately I have not been feeling right. I just knew something was wrong so I did a self-diagnosis. I ran through all the symptoms, cross-matched and evaluated possible causes, even re-evaluated daily to establish any changes.

I finally concluded that I was suffering from acute addonitis! It was unfortunately in the advanced stages and so I had no choice but to purchase an additional 150 points at Aulani today.

It is amazing how quickly that treatment worked... :hyper::teeth::sunny:

Of course, after spending all this money I believe I will need to forego the excursions and flop down next to the bar with you instead. :cool1:

Congratulations Andy! :) Now stay away from me I don't want to catch it!:scared1:

ARG!

We now have two iPhone 3GS's with screen issues. Mine is cracked and my partner's now has the White Screen of Death. The touch screen works if you know where to touch, but the screen is totally white.

We're down to only my iPhone 3GS having screen issues. Found a repair place a few doors down from one of the local AT&T stores. They replaced the screen for $80, so no more white screen of death. Now I need to decide if I want to have have my cracked screen replaced.

Did someone say CPR??? Happy to help! CPR is multitasking at it's best :thumbsup2 It's a workout, meditation, therapy and philanthropy all rolled up in one!

<snip>

Meditation - You will be concentraining and focusing when giving breaths and everyone knows meditation is all about focus and breathing :snooty:

Therapy - You can relieve stress as recommended by your anger management sessions when you get to hear the satisfying crunch of cracking someone's ribs and know you are not getting arrested this time

 Initially I wanted to hear your explanation of meditation, but your description of Therapy took me quite by surprise :rotfl2:

As I recall, you aren't the only one on here with a cracked iPhone 3 or 3gs screen. For those of you who want to have it repaired for a reasonable amount, drop me a PM. We have a client who does that reasonably and is reliable.

Cool. I forget if the cracked screen was giving you any problems? If it still works fine, I'd probably keep with the cracked screen until it fails or the new one comes out. Note that a new screen might provide slightly more water resistance.
