I've got you beat by one.

  1. Pack for the trip/Portofino Bay
  2. Pack for OKW
  3. Pack for Country Inn & Suites
  4. Pack for DCL (at least we have the same stateroom!!!)
  5. Pack for BLT
  6. Pack for home.
:headache::headache::headache:

You forgot the raddison!!!

Karen, I guess we're tied! So, maybe we can brainstorm and come up with a strategy that will help make it a little easier.

Well...I gotta go do some more

Well, my thought was to pack just one bag with what we'll need after we check out of OKW and before we unpack on the ship. That way, we only have to get into that one bag (even though we'll cart everything up to the room anyway - I never leave stuff in our rental cars).

I'll also have all our FE stuff in one bag (along with anything else cruise specific - magnets, etc.). No need to get into that bag until we get on the ship.

I'd love to hear any other suggestions! :thumbsup2

Nobody else on here tonight??? Well, I guess I will go see what we have for dinner. Probably Portillos tonight!!!!!!!!:cool1:

This post first:
I think Deb may want to do that too. I don't know if it was for the Dismeet or the cruise.:confused3

This post AFTER it:
Getting excited for the DIS meet!! I need to get my minnie mouse mani/pedi pretty soon.

Ok, I thought I'd had too many Sangria drinks when I saw the reversed postings. Glad others saw it too!

Have u ever stayed at Saratoga?

We stayed at SSR once with our "developer" points we got for buying BLT. I had requested Congress Park or the Springs area but couldn't get either. Don't remember which one we stayed at but it was really close to DTD. We did use the pool but it seemed very peaceful there. Out our balcony we had the geyser (sp?). Wasn't too thrilled there we no elevators though. It was nice we prefer staying closer to the parks.

I could use some help with my planning for our December trip. I'm going to make dining reservations on Monday. I'm thinking about getting the deluxe dining plan for 3 of the days: using 2 table service credits for the Candlelight Processional package, 2 credits for Yachtsman Steakhouse and 2 credits for the Brown Derby, 1 credit for breakfast at Kona Cafe (gotta have some Tonga Toast), 1 credit for lunch at Sci-Fi (son's favorite) and I was thinking about using the last credit for lunch - same day as Yachtsman - at either Via Napoli or Tutto Italia. I'd like to have lunch somewhere in Epcot since this will be on Wed and we might want to do Welcome Home Wednesday. That's still at Atlantic Dance Hall, right? Any ideas about Napoli or Italia or anywhere else for 1 table service?

Karen, I guess we're tied! So, maybe we can brainstorm and come up with a strategy that will help make it a little easier.

I plan to pack a "cruise bag" and then a second bag with the pre/post stuff. That way, I only have one bag to pack/unpack while at WDW.

I think I am going to ship a couple of things down ahead of time to Kidani in a large box and fill the rest with packing materials. When I leave for the cruise the box will stay with bell services and contain anything I do not need for the cruise. After cruise I go back to Kidani and fill the box with whatever extra stuff I need to ship home and I am set.

With all of you going to Chicago, it has me sorry that I did not get to know all of you last August. I spent a week in Chicago while the Transformers movie was being filmed and knew nobody there.

Trust me, thanks to the Chicago FD, I located entertainment :lmao: but it would have been nice to hangout and do some of these events with all of you.

Personally, I really enjoyed going to Navy Pier. There was a lot of "life" down there and many things to do.

Since I will not be there, enjoy yourselves and stay outta jail!

Chicago Dismeet Itinerary [/FONT]

Saturday the 18th:

11:00 A.M. - Lunch @ Signature Room
2:00 P.M. - Wendella Boat Tour

I think 2 for the boat tour gives us plenty of time to get there after lunch. Does anyone disagree?

After the tour, THEN WHAT? Go back to our rooms, go to the Disney Store( if so, which one or both?) or maybe make the boat tour for 3:00 and hit one Disney store before the tour (We'll walk right pass it) and the other one after?!

What time for dinner? Are we still going to Greek Town? If so, what time? Do we need to get a ressie somewhere?

Sunday the 19th:

??????? :confused3

Millennium Park
Geno's East Pizza (Ressie?)
Sears Tower

??????? :confused3
