Ack! I'm so frustrated!!! My house has it's yearly invasion of sugar ants. The whole block has them. We can't get rid of them and the stuff that used to make them go away has been outlawed. They are tiny and get into everything. We can put out the liquid poison stuff, but not where the pets can get it and even that only works for a day or two and then they are back.

dust the area they are walking around with uncooked Cream of Wheat (Farina). They eat it, the liquid inside them causes it to expand, boom they become an ant-split. Not harmful to other animals as long as you don't put out a 10 pound pile on the counter.
