Stacey - you and George don't have to apologize for anything!! when I first started reading your post I was afraid you were canceling the cruise. That would have made me sad because I am really looking forward to meeting everyone on this thread! I hope that everything is ok.

I give you a lot of credit for compiling the list. there is no way I would have remembered half as much as you did. Although I was not there, thank you to everyone for all you have done to make the meet happen. It looked amazing and I would have been overwhelmed if I had been in attendance.

Dear DVC friends-

Due to some personal issues that have come up George and I will need to withdraw from the Fish Extender as well as the Palo brunch. We are still very much looking forward to meeting all of you and seeing those of you we have already had the blessing to meet again.

I apologize for the late notice on this- it took much thought and debate before arriving at this difficult decision. You all have made us part of a family that we cherish and continue to want to be a part of.

Thank you all for your understanding.

I do hope to be making more regular appearances on the board in the coming months to catch up on the goings on and of course I am most looking forward to boarding the ship in September!

Sorry you have to drop out of those but at least you're still able to join us on the cruise - that's what is important.

I had a great time in NYC with my girlfriends from college on Saturday. It was a fun birthday weekend. We did not have any specific plans but just walked all over the place from noon to 7pm. We took one break for a late lunch at Angelo's in Little Italy. One of the girls I had not seen in 22 years so as you can imagine we walked and talked all day long. My other girlfriend works in NYC at the commodities exchange so it made getting around so easy. At least we did not look like all the tourists with the maps trying to figure their way around.

Funny thing about the whole day, the only shopping I did was for my kids. American Girl Place for DD and Nintendo World for DS. Can't wait to go back up this spring and take them. I have been promising but we have not made it up. DD really wants to go up for her birthday but it is hard to make plans and get up there the week before Christmas.

Sounds like everyone that went to the DIS meet had a great time. Thanks for sharing the picture and all the names. Love the pedicures ladies!!!! So cute.

Gotta go for now. I was supposed to get back on my work computer 2 hours ago and get some of my work done for our audit. Oops. I was trying to catch up out here and then I kept saying to myself. Okay, just one more page. I'll read just one more page and then log out. Nope, I'm all caught up. But, I will pay the price in the morning when I have to get ready for work. I actually have to go in to the office tomorrow. The horror!!! I have gotten so spoiled being able to work while in my sweat pants and sometimes even pjs.

A busy week .... Struggled home through some nasty weather (snow and such) on Saturday night .... Kitchen plumbing issues on Monday evening ... resolved those last night (well sort of ... )
