Kelly you rock... Everyone at the Dis meet, it was so nice to put a face to a name and a name to a face... If anyone is form Disney is lurking, then thanks for a really really really great time... yes we should meet again before we sail..and yes with the temp above 60 degrees, not because flip flops and snow don't mix( I found it rather refreshing..) but it is much safer to drive in better weather...hmmm say late June'ish????

Shawn - that sounds good. I have a suggestion for a late June DISmeet in Chicago: CHICAGO RIVERBOAT TOUR!!!! What do you guys think? I know...I know...it's not a DISNEY CRUISE SHIP, but it looks like it could still be fun. Of course we'd have to arrange something for a back-up in case it's pouring down rain. Has anyone in the Chicago area ever done one of those?

I'm trying to watch the Dream sail out on the Cocoa Beach webcam and that kid's kite is giving me an obstructed view of the ship!

That reminds me of the rooms in the Luxor in Las Vegas. I kept running into the top of the window.

Your friend is sooooo lucky! A friend of ours is sailing out on Thursday!

Yep...something like that. I know our porthole is slanted like that. We're in stateroom 7006. It's in the very front of the ship starboard side. I'm REALLY hoping they pull the ship in FORWARD on one of the CC days so our stateroom faces CC instead of facing the ocean. Not to mention it makes for much more beautiful pictures right there when you first get off the ship (When the front of the ship is facing you instead of the back)

Terri - that's exactly what I said! We were put in one of those rooms when we were out there for my sister's wedding. But then found out the rest of our relatives were staying in the west wing so we requested to switch over there. I'm soooo glad we did because the newer rooms were SOOO much nicer! My mom and I are going to Vegas in July and we're staying at Harrah's.

It was great meeting everyone yesterday!! Now I REALLY can't wait for the cruise. Let's do the river cruise in June. It will be lots of fun. Have any of you guys ever been to Millenium Park? That might be fun to check out along with the river cruise.

Kelly, thank you SO much for all of your hard work. It was a wonderful event!

We really need to drop the doorway to dreams staff a note. The word is that it was Dave who hooked us up at rainforest.

If you want to meet up in Chicago in June, I can get some fun ideas from my son for us while hanging out. He lives in the city. It's been a while since we have been on one of the lake cruises. There is so much we can do that will be fun.

Now, I know that other folks took some pictures besides me. I also know that some people took some pictures of food at lunch. Where are they?

We had some really good food for lunch at Rainforest! I have never eaten there before. The one time we tried was many, many years ago when they first opened and it was much too long a wait, so we went elsewhere.
