09/18/11 - DVCers Take Over the Dream (S.S. Member Cruise 2011) - Thread #4

Kind of a scary day. My very good friend and sons' Scoutmaster had a heart attack this morning. They put a stint in and expect him to be find and home early next week. He's one of the best people I know. A really great guy. So, we're all saying extra prayers for him tonight.

Hi Kelly (Hi Princess Lilly, and yes I dream of going to Downtown Disney too). Brown Derby was awesome too. I LOVE their Cobb Salad (I believe the original Brown Derby created it).

Ahhh, very good. I really want to try that place. LOVE Cobb Salads!! Yeh, I don't know the fascination Lilly has with Downtown Disney!! It is so funny though. We only have 42 more days until we are back. Can't wait!

He is pretty cool and super nice. I guess this place in Schaumburg is huge!! They do meets and presentations all the time there. They have the BLT model rooms all set up. Even though I have stayed at BLT, I have never seen a one or two bedroom. Looking forward to seeing that when we meet there.

When we had the D23 event earlier this year, they had the 3 bedroom grand villa for tour (it was nice)

I might be needing "computer advice" sometime in the near future, Wally. Well, actually Jim will. He is back in school for a second Master's Degree and it is in Library Science/Communication and he knows NOTHING about computers......and I mean NOTHING. He even talked about dropping this class he is now taking. He was asking me all these questions regarding web tutorials and other stuff. I don't know if you are familiar with software/programs but I may need to ask you a few questions sometime.

When we had the D23 event earlier this year, they had the 3 bedroom grand villa for tour (it was nice)

AWESOME!!!! I will never in my entire lifetime own enough points to stay in a grand villa....in any DVC resort.

This would require him actually "knowing" how to surf the web or google!! Just kidding. He at least DOES know that much...well at least EBAY and FACEBOOK.
