Only for signature restaurants, such as Jiko, Narcoossee's, California Grill, and soon Le Cellier. The ones that only require 1 credit still only take 1. AND an adult table-service meal includes 1 appetizer, 1 entree and 1 dessert (lunch or dinner only) as well as a non alcoholic beverage, which includes smoothies! You also get 2 snacks, and a resort refillable mug. You can figure out how that might work in your favor.
What is cool now is that you can break up your reservation so that you can have the DDP for a day and then the regular DP for the rest of the stay. Remember that although you get 3 TS meals in a day, that day is 24 hours. Which means that you can use it for 2 nights because it doesn't expire until midnight! 
We don't ever use dining plan for breakfast, because it is the cheapest meal of the day.
