Ok I just now caught up with this thread! I can't not come here for even a day and I am behind, mostly I lurk :rolleyes1

Ok now I am going to have to make sure I keep checking this thread twice a day.

Hi Debbie [Luckymomoftwo]-I was going through my CDs and found yours from last years FE. Chuck was in his office doing taxes, it's that time again, and I put it on for him. Honestly I could see the stress level drop especially when he started singing!!
Just wanted to say thanks sort of-you see Chuck 's singing could empty out a room. Good thing there were no clients with him.

Vicki

Good afternoon everyone!!

At home today with Lilly. She has some sort of bladder infection and doctor said I need to get a nebulizer. :scared1: My poor baby is in so much pain. Feel really bad for her. She just keeps saying, "I want to go to Downtown Disney!" Have no idea where she is getting this. She must really love that place. Oh well. Hope everyone is doing well this fine Monday morning.

Hope she feels better:) What I don't understand is if Lilly has a bladder infection, why did the doctor suggest a nebulizer?! Does Lilly take baths or showers? My little one (she's really not little anymore :sad1:) Used to get them all the time. We stopped the baths for a while, showered instead, made her drink cranberry juice and plenty of water, antibiotics, then back to QUICK baths. I hope she feels better! Tylenol maybe? If Lilly starts to complain of a backache ( a potential sign of a kidney infection) let her pediatrician know. :thumbsup2

Sorry, I know it is confusing. We went in today because of pain when Lilly goes to the bathroom. Walked out with a nebulizer because when doctor was checking her lungs/heart, he heard a lot of wheezing and she has a horrible cough. Hence....the nebulizer. As far as the infection, he thinks it is from bubble baths. So he did tell me to use vaseline, and no bubbles during bathtime. He said I also have to add 1/2 cup of baking soda to her baths. So we will see. I will definitely have her drink cranberry juice, thanks. Hopefully she will start to feel better soon, can't stand to see her cry.

I'm sorry to hear that, and I hope she gets better STAT! I spent the night taking care of Sue, she developed a really high fever. Fortunately, she had no other symptoms, and the fever broke on its own. Now, she just has a killer headache, but she did finally get some decent sleep today once the fever broke! :yay:

Yikes!:scared1: Tell Sue we said hello and we are glad she is getting better. I know they say having a high fever when you are an adult can be very dangerous. Good thing she had you to take care of her. Take care and hope she gets better.

P.S. Lilly is getting better....starting to get bossy...just like usual.:lovestruc

This is beginning to sound like our office the last couple of weeks. Almost everyone has been sick. Glad to hear Lilly is feeling better and that Sue's fever broke. Everyone else - take your vitamins.

Hope Lilly is feeling better. It's so tough for little ones when they are not feeling well.
We spent last night in the ER with our DD, except Katie is our 25 year old. This is our Disney Bride. She had a reaction to medicine she was taking for sinus and ear infections. She got a rash that was spreading from her feet up to her neck and face. Her legs were so inflamed it was scary. SHe has always been very sensitive to certain things. Anyway an IV and benedrl and steroids I think we may have it under control now.:lovestruc

Oh Lynn, that just stinks. Hope she is doing better. I am always afraid of reactions to m:cool2:eds and mixing meds when so many different things are wrong with you. Good luck.

Please tell us if real news happens, because we won't hear about it for days!

Nancy, maybe not the kind of news you were talking about, but here's an article describing how Disney is reaching out to the newborn market with free gift stuff given at the maternity ward and potential rewards for signing up for Disney emails. Clicky It's only available at certain hospitals currently.

OMG ... I was just suggesting to Lara that we should get some bubbles for Laran's baths. I remember Mr. Bubble from when I was a kid. Now we're talking no bubbles, showers or very short baths, baking soda, and Vasoline! What have I gotten myself into? I don't enjoy poking around down there in the first place without the Vasoline treatment before every bath. While I enjoy looking at women, I am really beginning to question the design of their anatomy.

Seriously, do you suppose it would be okay for us to continue as normal and hope that nothing happens? Then alter the plan if something does. We sometimes buy a Cranberry mixed juice, and she has no problems drinking it.

I think it's a great idea. Too bad my the didn't have them when my DGS was born last month. Anything free for new (and not so new) parents is a great idea in my opinion.

GOOD MORNING, WE ARE GETTING READY TO LEAVE FOR FLORIDA TOMORROW MORNING. AFTER BOWLING TONITE WE DRIVE TO BUFFALO AND STAY OVER TO CATCH FLIGHT TO FORT LAUDERDALE IN THE MORNING. 4 DAYS THERE THEN 7 DAYS ON THE SOLSTICE AND 4 MORE DAYS AT OKW. AMAZING HOW STRESSFUL PACKING CAN BE:scared1:
