I'm sorry to hear that, and I hope she gets better STAT! I spent the night taking care of Sue, she developed a really high fever. Fortunately, she had no other symptoms, and the fever broke on its own. Now, she just has a killer headache, but she did finally get some decent sleep today once the fever broke! :yay:

Yikes!!! Another one .

I was sick last week so I can sympathize. I was achey although I do not think I ever got a fever. At least not warm enough that I felt I had to check temperature.

Hope she is feeling better soon. :flower3:

Hope Lilly is feeling better. It's so tough for little ones when they are not feeling well.
We spent last night in the ER with our DD, except Katie is our 25 year old. This is our Disney Bride. She had a reaction to medicine she was taking for sinus and ear infections. She got a rash that was spreading from her feet up to her neck and face. Her legs were so inflamed it was scary. SHe has always been very sensitive to certain things. Anyway an IV and benedrl and steroids I think we may have it under control now.:lovestruc

Okay, what is going on??? All this sickness is making me feel sick again. :scared:

Hope she is feeling better soon. :flower3:

OMG ... I was just suggesting to Lara that we should get some bubbles for Laran's baths. I remember Mr. Bubble from when I was a kid. Now we're talking no bubbles, showers or very short baths, baking soda, and Vasoline! What have I gotten myself into? I don't enjoy poking around down there in the first place without the Vasoline treatment before every bath. While I enjoy looking at women, I am really beginning to question the design of their anatomy.

Seriously, do you suppose it would be okay for us to continue as normal and hope that nothing happens? Then alter the plan if something does. We sometimes buy a Cranberry mixed juice, and she has no problems drinking it.

Mr. Bubble?!?!?! That was banned at our house when I was young. I seem to recall having a similar problem when I was a young child and could not use bubbles or anything like that. I think my mother said I had gotten pretty sick from it.

GOOD MORNING, WE ARE GETTING READY TO LEAVE FOR FLORIDA TOMORROW MORNING. AFTER BOWLING TONITE WE DRIVE TO BUFFALO AND STAY OVER TO CATCH FLIGHT TO FORT LAUDERDALE IN THE MORNING. 4 DAYS THERE THEN 7 DAYS ON THE SOLSTICE AND 4 MORE DAYS AT OKW. AMAZING HOW STRESSFUL PACKING CAN BE:scared1:

Have a wonderful time! I hope you are able to enjoy warm sunny weather.

I am sooooo jealous. Even though the temps were out of the 20s the winds have been really bad all day and I am :cold:.

Where oh where is Spring.:flower3::hippie:

Southwest came through for us. I looked at 9:00am this morning and it was $135.00 each way for us. looked again at 10pm and it was down to $95.00 each way. We are booked for our flights. I hope everyone else has good luck with great prices.

Wow you did great! Congrats:thumbsup2

Well we booked our flights today too. We got $97 each way!! Totalled close to $480, but got it for $280 since we had some credit from a trip we are taking in March!!! Totally excited!! That is one step closer to the trip and meeting all you fabulous people. Now I just need to wait until March 27th so I can make our ADRs!! Any suggestions???:cool1::banana::thumbsup2

Thanks so much to everyone for wishing Lilly good thoughts. She is doing better....."down there", but her wheezing is still pretty bad. I don't know if the nebulizer/albuteral is working well. I guess it has only been a day, so we will see. She asked me to rock her to sleep tonight and she fell asleep after about 10 minutes and all of a sudden, while sleeping, she said (mumbled), "Mommy, I go to Disney tomorrow and see Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale. Downtown Disney, mommy"!!!

She is so funny!!!!:rotfl2:

Hey John!

I wouldn't worry, as others are saying. Keep doing what you are doing. I would just watch the "bubble intake" and make sure she is completely dry after taking bath/showers. My doctor said to put vaseline on AFTER diaper changes and baths. Cranberry juice is supposed to be good for urinary tract infections and such. Sounds like you guys are doing just fine. Wouldn't worry until you have to. Girls are just more "prone" to these sorts of things....one of the wonderful reasons to be a girl, right???princess:

OOOHHH!!!!! Congrats on the Southwest card & the free flights!!!

We're gonna need those free flight credits. Looks like RT airfare is $362 right now. :scared1::scared1::scared1: I was in a bit of a hurry to get those credits in my acct. But, I just read that after 3/1, SWA is changing their FF program and now EVERY seat on the flight will be eligible to use a reward on. They used to be limited to the number of free flights per trip. So, I won't have to stress about their being seats left to use my credit on. As long as the flight doesn't sell out, we'll be able to use our credits. :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: At least, I hope that's how it's going to work. :goodvibes

Just checked, still $362/pp form the west coast. Did you know SW is acquiring AirTran? Most likely we'll go with AA becuase at least I know our seats are pre-assigned, and since we've never been to Florida, I don't know about distance, terminal, etc. If I were you, I'd call SW to confirm info about the FF program. If anything comes up, I'll post or pm you. If you're like me, I'd be on the :surfweb: or :mic: on Monday, Feb 28 (short month this year) at 11:55 pm to start booking then press "enter" at 12:01 am March 1...:thumbsup2...But that's me....:cutie:.....:goodvibes Good luck!

I'm so glad Lilly is feeling better! It breaks my heart when little ones get sick. My kids are taller than me and it stll breaks my heart. Ibuprofen is our best friend....:rotfl:
I did some research on food, I think we are going to try
  1. Yacht Club....Crab cakes!
  2. Boma.....ambiance and variety of food
  3. Princess Breakfast at Akershus Dining Hall...My girls are such "princesses"! :rolleyes1
  4. Le Cellier....mmmm, Steak!
  5. Marrakesh....Belly dancing
  6. Kouzzina.....It's Cat Cora's restaurant, and we do love olive oil! :worship:
    good luck! :goodvibes

Yeah, I'm going to give them a call tomorrow and ask how it's all going to work with the changeover. I did read about the Airtran thing the other day. Isn't Airtran just on the east coast? We have Jet Blue here at PDX now. But their flights to MCO go through New York. Errrr, no thanks!! I had two bad experiences ... well, three, I guess ... with AA 16 and 14 years ago. I haven't flown them since. I have a long memory for those things.

As long as the hours and entertainment schedule for this Sept doesn't change much from last Sept, I have my itinerary and ADRs all figured out for our trip. :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: Just 29 days and a few hours until I have to get on the :surfweb: and the :mic: with Disney to get my reservations solidified! :thumbsup2

Thanks for keeping me in mind for any news you hear on good flight sales. :goodvibes
