Ok fellow dvc dream cruisers,
Finally think I have this figured out. We are going to fly a day early and get a shuttle to port canaveral to Country inn& suites. stay over and get a shuttle service from the hotel to the port in the morning. now we have to figure out after we get off the cruise how to get to disney. now will we be able to get a disney bus to take us to disney? is there a charge for this service or is it free. I cannot imagine then driving us an hour and not being paid for this. Will they take us directly to disney to our resort or will we have to go to the airport and transfer to a disney bus? First time for this so I am concerned about travel to and from. Can anybody answer my questions here?
Also, what kind of incentives do you get daily on this dvc cruise? First time being a dvc member and first time on a disney cruise ship. thanks to all your input. sandy.

We choose not to shuttle, we were going to park and then shuttle over, then we saw all on a small shuttle bus and all the luggage cramed in trailer they tow behind the bus... was not a fan of that, however I have heard that alot of people enjoy it...Good Luck

Hope the weather for you guys wasn't too bad. It's been cool and sunny down here in South Florida. We still have room for you guys :goodvibes

Wally you tease... I have 3 to 4 inches of ice on my driveway, I have chiselled off about 16 square feet and that is it...

though my flip flops are ready for the mini dis meet we are having up here in the frozen tundra in you and Terri's honor....

Wish we could make it to the dismeet, but the cold will destroy me. I was layering up like an onion when it got down to 60 degrees :rotfl2:

Sandy,
to get back to disney you do take a Disney Bus there is a charge for that, DVC and or DCL should be able to help with that arrangement, and yes you do end up at your resort, sometimes there will be some stops inbtween.

As far as the incentives, when you first get on board and can get to your room you usually have a small suitecase in your room, one for each person in the room, it is a welcome gift of sorts with many goodies inside, every morning you get a gift and in the evening a smaller gift ,, so many gifts, and many special guest to see....

We don't have an owners locker but on last years members cruise there was a couple down the hall that had one. If I remember correctly they said they stored it in the tub and took it out when they showered.

It's too heavy for me to keep moving. I'll have to think about it.

Congrats on the pirate:

I took Paul (DS16 - Grumpy) for his camp staff interview tonight. He was staff-in-training at this camp last summer for two weeks. They snagged his application out of the pile and grabbed him from the waiting room. I guess the interview went something like this:

Interviewer: We have a pile of these to do. So, we'll do this fast. <asksfourquestionsinasuperfastmanner>

Paul: <answersfourquestionssuperfast>

Interviewer: Ok, you're hired. Get out.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

They called him last week to make sure he was going to show up for interview night. So, I knew he was almost certainly going to get the job.

This means he'll be gone most of July and August. :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Of course, this means I'll have to take care of his new kitten while he's gone. :confused3 Maybe I'll make him pay his brother to kitten sit.
