hi marsha, hope we cruise again together, we will keep trying to get on the member cruises. How is charles?
I forget but when does charles get to sail on the new dream? Looks like he will have sooooooooooo much to do on it!

Hi Ian. We are doing well. I hope that I get to cruise with you and the rest of the gang again. I am not sure if we will be doing member cruises anytime soon with Charles starting school in 2012. We will see. We will be cruising on the Disney Dream this August and we can't wait. Charles is so excited. He wants to ride the Aqua Duck but he is too short. However, I am sure he will have fun in the club and at Castaway Cay.

This will be you in 33 weeks!

Ok, I'm going a little crazy here. Last nite, when I was online I found a little cheat sheet for the DREAM that someone had posted a link to. It showed what deck each of the restaurants, clubs, etc was on and folded in half. I thought I found it somewhere on the disboards or on allears.net. Didn't want to print it last nite, thought I'd print it from work today but I can't find it. Does anyone know where the link is?:confused3

I downloaded two things. One was a copy from off the passporter website and I can email you a copy if you send me your email address because I do not think the site will allow me to post the link.

I cannot find the link to the other one I have.

So this is where you have been!!!!!!! We missed you. Happy Reading!!

Yes! Blissfully away from reality. Miss you guys too!

TERRIE, IM ASKING A QUESTION FOR LAURA. SHE READS A LOT AND NOW WANTS TO GET A READER. WE ARE COMING TO FLORIDA NEXT WEEK. SHE WANTED TO BUY A READER DOWN THERE AND WAS WONDERING IF YOU HAD ANY SUGGESTIONS AND PRICES. THANKS:thumbsup2 bY THE WAY WE ARE STAYING IN BOCA RATON NEAR THE FLORIDA TURNPIKE.

I know you can get a Nook at Barnes & Noble and depending on which model can range from $149 - $249. I got a Kindle for Christmas from my mom and she got it on Amazon. Hey let us know if you guys want to get together for dinner if you don't already have plans.

Ohhh! Ok, I'm totally picking these up sooner rather than later! :thumbsup2 I finished all of Laurell K. Hamilton's books in the past couple of weeks (as has Jason). I started rereading the first couple of Sookie Stackhouse books. But, I need something new to read! Thanks for the info! :goodvibes

I love LKH's books, especially the Anita Blake series. I have to admit though, I am much more in love with The Black Dagger Brotherhood series.

OK, I'm certainly going to check out this series.

Yay! :yay: I am going to need people to commiserate with once I finish the series and start going through withdrawals  Fair warning, the series is not PG13 like Twilight ... it's ahem R rated ... no, scratch that. Uhm, I don't think you'd see any of it on the silver screen popcorn:: but I think you get the picture :rolleyes1

Ohhhh, I am sooooo going to read this series now!!:rotfl2:

Well East Coasters....looks like the Chicagoland area will be getting a taste of your medicine this week. We are in for 18-24 inches Tues/Wed. Not good. Although I would get a snow day, it is still going to suck. I will say though, Chicago knows how to deal with this mess, which is good. Any pointers or advice????

Stay safe and warm in Chicagoland. We have had two days in the 70's here in the Houston area. We are hoping for colder weather before the heat returns to Texas.

Get your shopping done fairly early on Monday. Stock on everything that you will want for a couple of days. Batteries, candles, ect. maybe good to have around as well ... lots of books to read ... comfort food ...

I am sorry but I must disagree with one point, the candles. I enjoy a nice romantic candlelight situation as much as anyone else. I do not enjoy an accidental fire during a power failure which has overloaded telephone circuits, thus slowing the initial call and dispatch, then trying to make my way through two foot of snow with every piece of equipment and all personnel which includes trying to find and connect to a fire hydrant and running the hoses all over the place. It gets even better when the water hits the ground and suddenly we are all dancing on ice.

I hate to be a spoil-sport but I would hate to miss out on getting to know you all that much more.

Best of luck with the storm, get the shopping and stuff out of the way early as mentioned and don't forget to get milk for your coffee. :lmao:

Oh, forgot to mention, they need to be read in order or much would be lost in terms of plot and character development etc. Here are the titles in order:
Dark Lover
Lover Eternal
Lover Awakened
Lover Revealed
Lover Unbound
Lover Enshrined
Lover Avenged
Lover Mine
Lover Unleashed (March 29, 2011)

Hi Marsha,
Molly now has a sister, Mackenzy. She was born the week before the ice storm hit Georgia! Her due date was in the middle of the storm. Good thing she was early all of Georgia shut down. Chuck had to get back to NY-luckily Airtran allowed you to change tickets for free. His flight was the last flight to leave Atlanta, after him they all were cancelled.
As you know we got hit with a mega snow storm here-LI. There is so much snow that the shopping centers have lost alot of parking spots due to snow removal that they don't know where they are going to put the snow that's due this week.
Molly starts school in 2012 too. Seems like yesterday Charles and Molly were together on the Dream.
Take care-regards
Vicki

You're welcome. I am glad the link worked.

Hi Vicki. How are you and Chuck doing? Congratulations on your newest granddaughter! I was just looking at the picture of Charles and Molly yesterday. I hope they get to cruise together again. They were so cute.

I just ordered book one. Thanks!! :goodvibes

Cool beans! I will repeat what everyone told me about the series which is to stick with it until the third book. Book one didn't blow me away but it does lay the ground work. Mid way through book two, I was hooked and by book three ... I needed an intervention :lmao:
