Well, I see I missed Pirate/Swan...AGAIN! Boy I was doing well back on Thread #1 and #2, but not now. Oh well.

Discovered something sad this weekend. Our local mall closed their Disney Store. I am so upset by this...I can't even tell you. This is what my family did for a rockin Saturday night. Lilly doesn't understand why it isn't there anymore. Has anyone seen this happening around them?? Our Disney Store has always been packed, I just don't understand what is happening. My family is so sad.

Mike we are leaving Saturday for Disney, maybe we will see you there.

Kelly the closet Disney store to us is Oakbrook Mall. I was very sad when they closed 2 that were very close for us. Way back Woodfield had one of the first Disney stores. I remember they even had a restaurant there. We would take our gang and have a bite to eat.

That just stinks!!! I'm sorry they closed the store in your mall! I have to say I was a bit surprised when the store stayed open in our mall in Merrillville (when Disney bought the stores back from the owners of The Children's Place). The selection of merchandise they carry isn't the greatest and it wasn't always "packed". I can't tell you how many times I've gone in there and come out empty handed. (Including the one day I worked there ) HOWEVER....it still doesn't stop me from going in there just about every time I'm at the mall!

I think it is gone for good. It is completely boarded up with absolutely no sign or anything. Can't even see inside.

We fly out on Sunday and will be staying at Animal Kingdom for the first time. Try to get by the dismeet on Tuesday at 4pm at OKW or the owners locker get together that night at 7pm in Epcot. Have a great trip.

Hi everyone!

Ok, I'll have to admit I'm going OCD with the pre-cruise planning for a hotel. Can't decide which one is best, been reading reviews about hotels with "june bugs and red ants " in PC and CCB. Oh well, at least I can plan for DL blindfolded anyday!
