Happy Disney Dream Christening Day!

Hope all is going well for everyone. It's been a very long time since I've been out here reading and posting on this thread.

It was a very busy holiday season with vacation over Thanksgiving and DD's birthday the week before Christmas. Then, with my car breaking down two weeks before vacation it's been just a little crazy. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and a happy and safe New Year.

I am going to try to get caught up with all the 'events and activities' on the first page and make sure I get signed up for anything I may have missed.

Hope everyone is enjoying the webcast for the christening. Very exciting! I can't wait until we are all onboard in September.

Thanks - I have to earn Disney dollars during this time, maybe the boss will be gone.

You know during the NCAA basketball playoff's there is a page to watch games with a spreadsheet at the bottom or the top......I wonder if there is something similar for a Disney christening!

Thanks for the reminder. Just watched the Dream christening and in true Disney style, it was quite a spectacular production. I believe they will be running the video all day so watch it if you get the chance

Thank you everyone for your congratulations. It's nice having a boy grandson since I raise two boys, but I love spoiling the granddaughter.

John - can you see the name Ferroli on the card in the picture? That is his mom's last name but the baby's last name is Stoecklin. My son and the mom just haven't made it official yet.

Southwest Nassau County, Queens and Brooklyn south shores all were one solid sheet of ice first thing this morning. There was a nice coating of water over it so there goes any hope for traction. I was able to watch cars do these really cool spinney moves and everything

Mucho traffico and all that. By the time I was ready to come home it was just yuck!

The positive side to this all is that now I get to do it all over again in a few hours...

Gosh, will this calendar EVER move???

I hope this calendar moves.....I want to go on the CRUISE!!!!!

We could actually pay off the credit card that we just used to purchase our Flat Screen TV on Saturday!!! I wouldn't mind watching the game in the comfort of my own home, in front of the fireplace with a bowl of chili, all on our new HDTV!!!!! We will see.

I'd vote for watching it on the new TV. It's gonna be way too cold. All I can say is

His name is Jack!

Aaawwwww!! That's one of those names that is making a comeback. That's the third baby I know of named Jack. My mom's BFF's grandson's name is Jack. He was named after the character in Nightmare Before Christmas. (I'm dead serious....his parents LOVE that movie!)

I am so far away from being a grandparent. My oldest is only 11. But I'm already looking forward to it. Being a parent is so tiring...I can't wait to be able to just enjoy a child without dealing with sleep deprivation, arguing, discipline and all that other (horrible) stuff that we have to do as parents but the grandparents get to skip.
