We also booked back to back cruises. Member's first and then 3 more nights on the Dream sept 22nd to 25th. I sort of spoiled when it comes to longer cruises. I prefer 9+ nites. I wish Disney had more variety...so the back to back will have to do.

WE LIKE THE LONGER 10 and 11 DAY CRUISES INTO CARIBBEAN. WE GO CELEBRITY. DISNEY DOESNT DO THE LONGER ONES BUT THEY ARE TOO EXPENSIVE. MIND YOU IF YOU CAN PLAN WITHIN 90 DAY WINDOW YOU CAN GET UP TO %70 OFF SOME DISNEY CRUISES THRU VACATIONS TO GO.

Sorry if I should hot have....anyway, I have made "friends" with a woman from the UK who is writing a trip report on her upcoming cruise on the Dream.
She will be on the inaugural cruise, so I am hoping to gain some info from her, that I of course will be passing on to others.

Hi everyone! My name's Liza. I'm booked on the Member's Cruise. I can't wait. I already have a countdown ticker on my cell phone. I'm going with 3 of my goddaughters 5 and twin 10 year olds. The kids are all new at cruising. I'm just new to the Disney cruiseline. We're on the 7th floor but I don't remember our cabin # at the moment. I'm considering coming down the Friday before but am worried about getting to port. I like to get to port early and I hear the buses from the resorts leave later than the first buses from the airpot. Any suggestions from proir cruisers? Also this is a surprise for the girls. I can't wait to participate in the fish extender. Sounds fun. We're also doing back to back cruises. I booked us on the following 3 night dream cruise on the 22nd!

Several families are doing B2B, but most opted for the prior cruise. I recall at least one other family is taking the post cruise you'll be on, just don't remember who it is ... Wait, Andy (Carmouse10) has a list of where people are staying before/after the cruise. It might be on his list?

Checked into OKW!!! We did not get a refurbished room.....darn. We have a nice sized studio on the second floor. Cute place....I have never stayed here. Went to DTD today and ate at Capn Jacks. Yummy crab cakes. Just settling into our room tonight. Just gave Lilly a bath and of course as usual, she is running around the room singing and dancing. This is her "first night routine". Off to AK in the morning then to HS later in the afternoon. Hopefully meeting Wally and Terrie and Dan and Sue at OKW for some key lime pie!!!!! Hope everyone is doing well and will catch up later.

After 10 hours of driving on the road beacuse of snow in Southern California we finally made it home safe from Disneyland, my little friend came home with me, he will be on the ship Can you find him?

Does everybody fly down a day before the cruise and get a hotel room near the port?
on the day we fly Sept.22 to Orlando is there a Disney cruiseline bus to take us to port? Do they do this as you arrive or do you have to wait for a time to fill the bus and go down?
As you can see we are trying to figure out what day we want to come down. WE want to arrive at the port early like 10am-11am. if this means flying one day early we will.
AS for our return to the port will disney cruiseline bus take us back to airport or since we are doing a few days in disney will they take us directly to our resort?

Happy Monday everyone!!!

Okay not so happy for some of us that had to go back to work after being off for almost two weeks!

I was quite productive over the break and will have some of the new things up on the website hopefully by this weekend. I am including in the website a basic FAQ with a lot of the the tips and tricks that Marsha posted throughout the thread last year. Kind of a one stop shop for information about the cruise.

I am almost complete with the self submitting page for the Gallery page as well. Boy that is not an easy code, ok at least not for someone that doesn't do this for a living.

Hope everyone has a great week and now at least we are in the same year with which our cruise happens.
