I completely forgot to share my good news with you all. Saturday night I will be going to see my boyfriend, Michael Buble, in concert. I won two tickets from a local radio station (101.9 THE MIX) for all you Chicagoans!!!! I am sitting in the fourth row!!!! So excited. I am just hoping he will notice me!!! LOVE HIM!!!

Marsha - I'm so sorry to hear about DH's Granny. Two of my friends (sisters) lost their Grandmother on Thanksgiving, and a girl I was friends with in high school lost her mom on Thanksgiving. And then I'm sure you read about Terrie & Wally losing Ophelia, too.

I know "death" doesn't recognize holidays and birthdays, but it's just too bad that it has to happen on or near a holiday or birthday. This year there were several families that I know grieving instead of giving thanks on Thanksgiving. It just breaks my heart. :-(

Cynthia that's on in the mornings with Eric & Kathy went to my high school. I graduated with her older sister. That's the closest claim to fame I have. LOL!!!

I actually won the tickets in the afternoon, 4:20pm with Kauz (sp.). So I got to talk to him. That is funny about Cynthia. What high school did you go to?

He seems sooo cool! I like his afternoon trivia questions....I think the segment is called something about killing a half hour. I only hear it if I take a really late lunch.

I went to Hobart High School in Hobart. We're about 45 miles southeast of Chicago.

However, DH's Granny passed away on Thanksgiving. DH took it well. She had been sick and stopped eating almost two weeks ago. We are thankful that she is not in pain anymore. We will be heading to the funeral this week. She lived a long life. She will definitely be missed.
