You can check the wine in your luggage on the plane. DCL says you have to carry it on but last time i did not i kept it in my checked bag.

I'll have to pop into one of my local wineries and ask if they have some good stuff to pack it in for the flight.

Guess which one is my favorite out of all these? You guessed MANGO-steen. It's sooo sweet and sooo good.

You might have to go up to Canada to get mangosteen. Not sure if they are grown/sold in the states yet.

I saw them on an episode of Iron Chef! :thumbsup2

Assuming you are using Disney Transportation, I think you can safely transport wine bottles in your checked baggage. I know we have transported distilled spirits that way. Use a couple of zip-locks (if they come that big), separate them between clothes, and hope they don't disappear during baggage handling. We have never lost anything, even when the TSA inspects the bag.

I have a few giant ziplocks kicking around here. I'll set them aside for the flight. :cool1:

I'm going to have to get my DH to sign up for the Disboards just so we can talk DCL on here at night at get some :bride: and pirate:. :rotfl:

Good Morning everyone. It's supposed to be a pretty decent day here in NJ. I hope everyone else has a nice one too.

here is something for you wally, I WANT TO DO THIS

zipline.jpg

In Haiti, worlds largest zip line over water. Next I want to do the 1.2mi one in South Africa (I think I read you get up to 110mph). Whistler, BC was awesome though, they don't make you wear those silly full harnesses; instead you wear a regular climbing harness so you can do cool things like flip UPSIDE DOWN!! So fun.

(there are videos for most of these on youtube, or is it juliotube!?)

I would love to do this as long as you don't land IN the water :scared1:

23 bottles of beer on the wall.............

Speaking of 23....I got my D23 welcome materials in the mail today!!:cool1:

Congratulations on joining!

Curious????

What happens if there are hurricane warnings before/during our cruise??

I don't know what DCL would do :confused3 I can tell you as a Floridian we consider anything less than a category 3 merely a strong wind :lmao:

Do you and Terrie always buy trip insurance??

Yup, because Wally knows I can repeat the words "I told you so" in several languages and in infinite variations :rotfl2:

Hey Terrie! I watch Resident Evil: Afterlife because Brandon really wanted to see it. Guess who's in it?...

:confused3:confused3:confused3

I had an awesome Mangotini at Applebees recently. It was sooooo good!

Oh that sounds YUMMY!!!!!

Wentworth Miller!!!:faint:

:love::love::love:

Karen, Have you tried any of these:

Dragon Fruit?
Mangosteen?
Dragon's Eye Fruit?
Jack Fruit?
Lychees?

ALL are good EXCEPT Jack Fruit :scared1: Do not be fooled into trying that stuff. To be honest you'd have to have no sense of smell to even want to try it. It smells like rotting corpses that were eviscerated and then marinated in sugar water and then simmer in pond scum at high noon in the middle of July

Good Morning Everyone!

Good Morning Michele! Yes, it does look like its going to be a nice day in Jersey. We all need to start posting in the morning like these night owls do so that we can catch up on :bride: and pirate: ! :rotfl:

Yes, Mickey - we'll sign up for the Wine & Food Club at night. You better be there to see me for coffee in the morning though! I'm not very good at setting up things on the computer, so I don't have anywhere that you can "sign up" for the Sunrise Coffee Club - I guess we'll just see who stumbles onto Deck 11 each morning! :rotfl2:

GOOD MORNING!!! Jeez...10 pages to catch up on again this morning!

Question for those who received their confirmations in the mail today - I booked 2 staterooms, 1 for us and 1 for our friends. On the Disney Cruiseline website it shows us in stateroom #7124 and our friends in #7122 but the confirmation I received has the staterooms reversed. Do I call Member Services or Disney Cruiseline to see which is correct?:confused3

I would imagine however it came on the confirmation is how DVC/DCL has it in their system. I would call Member Services to try to get it straightened out. They may charge a fee to make any changes, so if you're ok with it, you could just leave it the way it is and when you get there just switch rooms with your friends.

DCL will avoid any bad weather as much as they can. The 2010 member cruise had the calmest water I have ever been on in 7 cruises. I couldn't believe how calm it was!!

As far as i can see there is no limit!!!!!
Also last time my wife and i had champagne right on the pool deck.

Cool! Ok, so they have a "no glass in open areas" rule, but obviously don't enforce it! :thumbsup2

Sorry My Dear, but you are talking about the Durian Fruit (which does have a strong pungent odor). Don't go talking bad about the Jack Fruit. Beside, the Durian tastes good also.:hippie:
