The problem is that we are driving straight through after a football game on SAturday morning for my son. We won't have time to do any shopping. We will be staying over at my brother's condo in Cape Canaveral. I don't suppose there are any disney shops nearby, but then again, there may be some beach shops with that stuff I might have to hit up on the way to the port.

I have also heard about a Disney outlet store somewhere along Florida's Atlantic coast. People seemed to really like it. I think it was about 1-2 hours from the port, and not sure if it was to the north or not.

Can anyone help us out?

Finally, I found what little info I have saved about the Disney Outlet store:

Disney Outlet Store, St. Augustine about 2 hours from Cape Canaveral. They even had cruise line stuff, most items 70% or more off the cost on the ship or in WDW.

good afternoon to everyone. Sunny in Pa. today. doing my last minute wash duty. then I can start packing. Got my hair cut today. Thursday is my pedicure/manicure with my girlfriend that brought me along on this wonderful cruise.

I need to talk with the salon about what to do with my nails. The sunscreen I use eats right through nail polish and acrylic. They've got to know what to do about that in Florida, right? Because the folks in Oregon are clueless!!

I would assume Floridians would know. Have you tried the gel/shallac yet?

Hope your hair came out better than mine. I've always been happy after my haircuts but this time, not so much. Oh well, at least I have hair! My mani/pedi is on Friday. I've never had a pedicure before but I have a groupon for it.

Looks like scattered showers with the highs in the upper 80's and lows in the upper 70's. Temperature wise it sounds perfect to me!

I would assume Floridians would know. Have you tried the gel/shallac yet?

I haven't. I've only done acrylic so far. But, I learned not to get those done when we are going on vacation. Going to leave here in a little bit to find that nail salon. I'm being soooo lazy today. Jason and Stitch left for Disney Quest at 11am. Grumpy followed them about an hour later. I'm just lazing around. Although, I did pick up the room and do dishes and laundry.
