OMg! It took me over an hour to catch up from where I left off from last night.

Questions: Should we bring our disney lanyards or do we get new one?
The mini suitcases were for the kids?
I got a magnetic board and stole my mom's disney kitchen magnets and my daughter's alphabet magnets for each of us "A" "O" "G""J" and I couldn't find the "R" so Ron gets the "X." I'm going to have to go to the Disney store this weekend and get more stuff. I might even have to make our own FE.
Hoosier John, I understand about the salary thing. I just started working ft (after 5 years with my kids) because Dh's salary went to 75% to try to weed out employees and save money. That was two months ago. Everyone is laid off as of Sept 30th, end of govt Fiscal year. DH has two interviews today, both face to face. If he gets offered both which wold be nice, we will have to decide between lower salary but as a governemtn servant (job security) or more money but 6 month contract. He has had tons of interviews all summer. Keeping our fingers crossed that one of these or the other ones turns out.

Also, John I am lucky enough to not have to drive to Lousiville so it's an easy communte down 264 from Jeffersonville to New Albany.

You need to set up an account on photobucket. If you already have one then great. Download the photobucket app. Upload the pic to photobucket. Once the pic is uploaded, tap the pic, then tap the I in the bottom right hand corner. Then touch and hold the script and it will automatically copy it. Go to disboards and paste in your reply and that's it.

Sounds like a lot to do but once you do it, it's real easy.

It is a LOT of fun, you would certainly enjoy it. Ya know, I'm pretty sure that if you let everyone here know your stateroom door number I didn't see posted on page one that has most of the names and room numbers posted) and just happen to hang a shopping bag or something on your fish/seahorse ... you would probably come back to a surprise here and there throughout the cruise ... just sayin' ...

Terri, you know what? I did pm that person last night about staying after at the btl but never thought about the cruise room. I am in stateroom 7570 and my friends are in 7566. there is a room between us. wonder who that will be?LOL
Terri, I don't know about that shopping bag idea. I would feel funny getting something and not partisapating in the FE. Let me think about this some more!LOL

Last year there was a couple that was late to the party so they just got stuff for everyone and whoever put something in theirs they considered a bonus. Better to give sort of thing. I know they received too. So do what you want. Thought this may help in deciding.

I have AT&T and it's to anywhere from anywhere in the country for one price. I don't know about Canada though. I'll have to do some checkin for ya. EH?!

I believe so. Yeah, even though the last SSMC on the Wonder was our first Disney cruise, I still felt disoriented on the new ship







Last year, I believe we all met up at 3pm and had enough time to meet and greet, award PP prizes and take group pictures. I am pretty sure this crowd will need a little bit more time as there are more of us overall and we have definitely proven to be a chatty bunch I think that for those who want to begin socializing by 2 that is cool but if we all met up by 2:45/3pm that would provide enough time for most to get on board, meet up with the rest of the DISpeeps and make sure we were all done by muster drill time. FE is the Fish Extender gift exchange which is a common activity on Disney Cruises for the DISers. People sign up to participate with whoever is heading it up for a particular cruise. Our leader is Debbie, luckymomoftwo this year who also took charge of it last year Each participant will bring or make a gift for all of the other cabins/participants that have signed up. The gift can be candy, small DCL/Disney related item, something representing your home town etc. Outside of each cabin door there is a metal fish (on Wonder and Magic) or Seahorse (on Dream) decoration that is supposed to be for the crew to leave you messages. FE peeeps will hang an extension of some sort to said fish that contains pockets or compartments to leave the gifts. Here is a pic of ours.

The deadline was last month because it does take some prep work and some do bring home made items. However, if interested, you can probably ask Debbie to ask the group if she is able and has time to (she is on the B2B too) if anyone has extra stuff and would be willing to add you on their list. Keep in mind though that it doesn't give you a whole lot of time to get stuff for the people who do agree. On the upside your list would be much smaller and manageable than everyone else's As for an extender, you can hang a small tote bag on your fish/seahorse and that would be just fine.

I am told right down the road from the radison.but never seen the Radison. last year we stayed here when we went on a Royal Caribbean cruise and liked Country inn & suites so we are staying there again. as for dinner we ended up walking to the first place and that was Burger King! Yuck! doing some research I see a place called Kelseys. maybe we will try that place for dinner.
