Good morning my fellow DISpeeps!

I just returned from the Dr. and he seems happy with how the surgery went. I have some minor restrictions as expected, but I am clear to cruise with no worries!!! :yay: <=== BTW, that is one of my restrictions... LOL

I will meet with the Physical Therapist this afternoon to make plans for my rehab. The doctor said they would be able to give me some stuff to do while I am on the trip so that should be fun.

Glad to hear all is looking good so far Andy!

Hey Ian and All,

I read where several of you met for the Sail Away Party last year. Any ideas where we will try to meet this year?

Yep, that sounds good to me. Could anyone confirm that if I print, "Join us on Deck 12 at the forward funnel" in the Mini-Navigator that folks will be able to find us there. In other words, is there a viewing location on Deck 12, forward funnel where we can meet?

FYI just saw on disboards-"Canadian Resident discount on Mexican Riviera Sailings 1/8/12-2/26/12 at a 25% discount"
Thought of you :)

What's Remy?

You are SOOOOOO Funny!!!!!! :lmao:

I was reviewing my documents last night and just realized that our dinner is Main, not late. Weird. All this time I had it in my head that we were Late. Any comments: Pros & Cons for each?

I don't think it matters as much on the member cruise. It can be a pain in the neck when you're on a regular cruise doing excursions at the different ports because then you have to hurry back to the ship and hurry up to get ready for early dinner.

Another pro for early dining is that you don't go to bed so soon after dinner. It doesn't really make a difference for us, but some people like to eat a little earlier than just before bed time.

I think you should print that...and then announce it at the meet, too.

That looks just like the spot on the Wonder that Ian was talking about. :thumbsup2

This is my best guess at what we can expect on Embarkation Day (In part from Kelly's cruise this spring on the Dream):

11:00ish Approx. time doors open for Terminal Entry & Check-in.
First look at your dining rotation (expect one restaurant to be duplicated on 4 nighters).
This might be a good night to make reservations for Palo/Remy ($20/75 per person).
Noonish First groups allowed to board; Pools open and not crowded.
Guest services has short lines if you need anything (maps, check OB credit, pillow case)
View or photo Vibe/Edge/Oceanears clubs during preview before they open.
Cabanas Restaurant and Enchanted Garden should be open for lunch.
12:30-3:00 pm AquaDuck is Open. (Also have seen hours as 12:15 to 2:45. Wear swim gear onboard)
1:00 pm Ship tour (meet at the Port Adventures desk, Deck 5, midship)
1:00-3:30 pm Palo & Remy Bookings and Dining Assignment changes (D Lounge, deck 4 midship).
Check Navigator: Later reports are to book Palo & Remy AT the restaurants themselves.
1:30 pm Allowed access to room for first time (luggage should arrive before 5:30 pm).
2:00 pm Ship tour (meet at the Port Adventures desk, Deck 5, midship)
3:00 pm DisBoard Meet and Greet (all ship services suspended 3:45-4:30).
3:30-4:30 pm Palo & Remy reservation and dining schedule changes via phone (7-1831 / 1832).
3:45 pm Mandatory muster drill for all passengers (bring KTTW card; do not WEAR life jacket).
3:45 pm All Aboard.
4:30-5:15 pm Adventures Away! Sail Away Celebration, 45 min (meet us on Deck 12 at the forward funnel).
4:30-8:30 pm AquaDuck is open.
5:00 pm Cast off
5:45 pm Early Dinner (consult Key to the World or Tickets for Dining Room and Seating Time).
6:00 pm Gift shops open with Ltd Edition DVC gifts for sale (usually sells out by end of cruise).
6:15 pm Early Show in Walt Disney Theater, 3 & 4 Forward (Disney’s Believe).
8:15 pm Sunday Night Football (?).
8:15 pm Late Dinner (as a courtesy to your table-mates, please be on time).
8:30 pm Late Show in Walt Disney Theater, 3 & 4 Forward (Disney’s Believe).

Oh no.....the site for the tutu's.

You know I don't know where she got them. She finds the strangest things. She bought them about 8 months ago somewhere. We were gonna do the princess marathon and then couldn't.

Thank you Debbie,

Actually that is just to help people make plans, prior to arriving (like for our DISmeet). Marsha gave me a digital copy of last year's Mini-Navigator, which I am changing for this year.

So it's not just me who deserves thanks. Kelly really helped me with the times, because things have changed so much with the new, larger ship. Marsha deserves thanks for sharing the data, and for most of the artwork and layout. And you have helped me with various things for almost a year now. These are just the people who helped me, directly with this. (Lord I hope I didn't miss anyone).

Thank you all, too!!!

Hi Kathy
You can swipe over to the emoticons on the right side of your screen then tap the smiley you want, or:
"Type" the "smiley" word. For example
if you want to post :) you need to type the : then )
Or for  type : then banana then :
Jennifer :flower3:

Oh!! I get it now!!
I'm using the "E*Ticket" app,
eticketapp.jpg
-- not the regular web site. I was trying to figure out where your smilies were coming from. :rolleyes1

I'll be OK; I just need a little vacation. :beach:

Well, we didn't get to go for ice cream. :confused3 I don't know what is going on with Lilly. She was potty-trained this summer and now she is having a "setback" or something. She is supposed to be potty trained for preschool, so I don't know what I am going to do. The school allows pull-ups for the first month...so wish us luck.
