Hey Autumn...I think that's so cool what you posted on Facebook!! (Where's AUT)

Did you see my reply on the post about dressing up? It was kind of lengthy and I hope I didn't offend anyone that enjoys dressing up. I was just trying to support those that don't like to dress up. Nothing against the people that do dress up...just against those that are rude to people who don't. :thumbsup2

lol thank you.. i swear im not a TOTAL bum.. but i am a total A.D.D. klutz and taking me out of my comfort zone NEVER bodes well lol

Yeah Aut is my nickname. oddly.. my aunt from pa started calling me that about the same time my Navy MA roomate did and they didnt even know me.. it's sorta stuck and escaped out to other ears and eyes. :) i dig it though :) and thank you for liking the plan :)

HI AUTUNM, I JUST CLUED IN WHERE YOUR FROM. WE HAVE BEEN TO VIRGINIA BEACH A FEW TIMES. IM AMAZED AT THE NAVAL BASE. WE TOOK THE TOUR A FEW YEARS AGO. THEN WE WERE GOING TO TOUR THE NAVAL AIRBASE, BUT I COULDNT FIND WHERE YOU TAKE THE TOURS. THIS WAS IN THE LATE 90s. I ACTUALLY DROVE OUT BETWEEN THE HANGERS. THE GATE WAS OPEN SO I TURN IN AND GOT CLOSE TO THE OPEN HANGERS BEFORE SOMEBODY COME RUNNING:rotfl2: I TOLD THEM WE WERE FROM CANADA AND GOT LOST WHILE LOOKING FOR THE TOUR.:rotfl2: I THINK THEY WERE HANGERS ITS BEEN AWHILE. I JUST KNOW THE RUNWAY WASNT TO FAR AWAY. THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME IVE STOOD NEAR AN AIRCRAFT CARRIER< WOW THEY ARE HUGE. WE REALLY ENJOY THAT AREA. SO MUCH HISTORY

LOL I am a Hampton Roads Native. :) I grew up 3 blocks from the james river in hampton. i walk 3 blocks and look across at the carriers. oddly though im married navy i spent more time on the air force base in high school. sadly, there is no just driving onto base on accident anymore.. 9/11 killed that. yup theres hangers then support buildings down by the docks. thing is norfolk is the worlds largest naval base so that puppy is HUGE. you were probably down at the hampton blvd gate. if yall opt to swing this way again you'll have to warn me and Drew can take you on a tour :)

When are you leaving? Any minute right?

In five hours! :scared1: Still have a bit of packing to do.

Didn't have a chance to put our names on our FE.

Didn't have a chance to make our door magnets.

Didn't have a chance to write up touring plans.

But! We're gonna have a great time anyway!

... as long as I finish packing! ...:woohoo:

Ok, this is my last post from home! I'm packing the laptop away now. I'm gonna hit this last bit of packing hard and then try to catch a nap! :thumbsup2

Terrie. That should be inspiration enough to get to a size 1!:thumbsup2

Yeah, you might be right about that. I was toying with the idea of breakfast, now I'll be lucky just to get coffee down

I coulda sworn that you DID sign up for it... It was that night you were taste testing the new Terrie-tini concoctions. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Oh well that explains things :rolleyes1 ... carry on

DUDE! That is inspiration enough to get ME to a size one!!!

A size one fireman  Not on my calendar :rotfl2:

THE FINE PRINT: (because there is always the fine print)

NO OFFICIAL OR UNOFFICIAL PRIZES! NO BACKDATING OR RETROACTIVE AWARDS. No purchase needed. Offer void where prohibited. Contest is limited to citizens of any nation or state located on a planet that is the Third Rock From the Sun (except if you have a major league baseball team that may share a name with a cartoon dog in your state.). You cannot be contestant in this game if you are a man from Indiana that has threatened to wear a thong in public in the last 30 days and you like to julioogle things and lurk for pirates. (nothing like specifically fine tuning rules eh? :rotfl2:) Your mileage may vary. First you make a roux. Professional driver on a closed course. Do not attempt at home. All parts of the post were made from at least 100% whole cloth using beef, beef byproducts, soy, cotton, polyester and other man made materials.

:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2::laughing:

Size one:confused3 I thought one size fits all:rotfl2:

That was good

:woohoo: WE HAVE POWER! :woohoo:Power came back at about 10:40 or so this morning. Our next door neighbor does not have power though.

There was no damage to the house, thank goodness. Lots of branches and tree limbs to clean up in the back yard. The people diagonally be hind us have a tree that is totally destroyed and is all over the their garage. It looks like they will need a tree service for that.

Right now it it is raining softly again ...

WOO HOO!!!! Great news!!!! :cheer2:

I guess we will need name tags on the cruise because there will be no if there is drinking. THERE WILL BE DRINKING :rotfl:

Word.

Awesome! I'm still packing. :sad2: I think I need to go buy another suitcase. :scared1:

Between the FE stuff, pirate costumes, Duffy & Shellie May and thei outfits, I think I might need another suitcase too

Now that we have SO many Elizabeth Swans :bride: and Pirates pirate: there is a danger of them all toppling over! Can't have that, so we now have a "bookends" contest.
POCbookend.jpg

Earn a bookend for every pair of posts ending in 98 and 01
Note: final winner of :bride: and winner of pirate: will be exempt from "bookends" contest, so everyone's still got a shot here!
