Thank you so much. Do you know what time quest services will open-hopefully I can get on a wait list for a cabana so my mom [85] can come to CC with us and watch her great grandchildren play in the sand !!!!

I don't know for sure, but I imagine they open as soon as people start boarding.

What kind of accommodations does your mom need to visit CC? Does she need to be out of the sun or ... ?? I know they have beach wheelchairs, if she has trouble walking.

Thank you so much for asking-yes we will be "grabbing" a beach wheelchair- she can not take the sun. She went with us on last years cruise and stayed on the ship both days. Which was ok she saw 2 movies and ate alot of lunch !!!

My mom has the same problem. She gets sun poisoning and the meds she's on makes her even more sun sensitive. Are the beach umbrellas not enough shade for a short time? I wish I was more familiar with CC and knew of a place out of the sun where your mom could still enjoy watching her family romping!

Anyone have any ideas?

This makes me think we should start an SSMCA (Anonimous) thread for our spouses who think we are crazy for spending so much time on here. I'm sure Lara would join that group and post about me. How about Debbie, Mike? And Christa too, right Mick? I bet there are several husbands out there who would join too!

I think that my lovely and talented (without whom my life would be meaningless and not worth living ) would be the charter member and leader!
