They are having a class reunion there for anyone and everyone who has ever attended, is still attending, has ever worked, or is still working at Hobart Schools. People are making fun of it in the newspaper article online and I think they are all jealous.

Fun! I've never had any desire to go to any of my class reunions. :confused3 There are a few people I keep in occasional contact with, but for the most part I'm happy to leave the past in the past. I had a great time in high school though.

I don't like the new DVC logo! :sad1: It doesn't look "Fun", it looks too much like a corporate logo. Ok...now I'm leaving. Chat with ya all later!

It looks real pretty on the back of the WDW buses though, along with the new phrase, "Where to next?"!

Thank for the picture. Now do these run true to size. If I would buy a womans t-shirt in disney I would get a 3x.

In my experience with Disney T-shirts...they seem to run just a little small. BUT that's the ones that are made super cheap and are paper thin. If I happen to find a good thick t-shirt it seems they run true to size. These look like they may be the nice good thick t-shirts.

P.S. You could always try emailing: members@disneyvacationclub.com and see if they can answer your question about the sizing. I'm not sure if they'll be able to answer you or not. It seems on these DVC cruises DCL says you have to talk to DVC and DVC says you have to talk to DCL. I never know who to contact for what! :rotfl:

We are booked there before the cruise and I just read on disboards negative reports concerning this hotel. Has anyone stayed here? Any input? Thanks...

Can't you return it? I mean, they might make you pay delivery/return charges, but if you're that miserable with it, it might be worth it. I'm sorry! Your kitchen project really sounds like it's turned into a nightmare!

He should be able to return the frig if he isn't happy. Depends on where he bought it, I guess.

Hi Vicki! How are ya?! We've stayed at the Radison at the port twice now. Last year the night before the SSMC I guess one of the buildings had to be evacuated due to smoke in the hallway or a fire alarm being set off. We really like to walk around the pool area there. The rooms are decent size and clean. The ONLY issue we have is the shuttle. It's kind of a mad-house because they leave every half hour and there are tons of people standing in the lobby and by the front doors with all of their luggage waiting for the shuttle. But it all works out fine.

I just read on another thread that today is DCL's 13th Anniversary!!!

The Disney Magic set sail on her Maiden Voyage 13 years ago today. :goodvibes

Junior & I had used our DVC points to book a cruise on the Magic for a sail date prior to July 30, 1998, and when DCL announced that the ship wasn't going to be ready, DVC was going to make us use our one time "OOPS" to cancel our reservation.

Apparently DVC and DCL didn't communicate very well back then either. :lmao: We had to explain to several different DVC CM's that WE weren't the ones that wanted to change our vacation plans, but we couldn't really sail on a ship that was still under construction, now could we? :lmao:

I just called DCL for clarification on something that I've always read conflicting reports on. When we get to the terminal for the cruise, I've heard that you can't go in unless your entire party is with you.

What we plan on doing is having Junior drive us over to the ship with all of our luggage and dropping us off. Then he'll go back to the Radisson and drop off the car and take the shuttle back.

So, I just had a hard time believing they wouldn't let us in without him. And what I found out is that we can check in our luggage, go through security/customs and wait inside the terminal. We just can't go up to the counter and check in until we are all there. So, I reserved him a spot on the shuttle at the Radisson. :thumbsup2

I also learned that the earliest they will allow people into the terminal now is 11:00. If you get there before 11:00 you will be waiting outside. If you've already completed your online check in and you chose 10:30 as your check in time, then your check in time is now 11:00.
