As an aside, (WARNING: This post is totally ! {but then are we ever ON topic? }) I just want to say that living here in Appleton is very awesomesauce.

Appleton is located about 20 minutes north of Oshkosh. This week Oshkosh's airport, Wittman Regional Airport hosts the EAA Convention. Aircraft of all types from all over the world come to the show.

This week, I got see 2 float planes, a PBY Catalina, a couple of F4 Corsair's, P51's, Thunderbolts, a Twin tail Lightening, a couple of A10's, a B17G and the only flying B29 left. (That doesn't include the scores of private small planes )

Sadly 2 people died when a plane crashed in the lake and an Alabama Air National Guard F16 was damaged when it went off the runway, broke it's nose gear and ended up breaking the nose off the front of the cockpit.

I just think that it's cool to have these great aircraft flying around here for a little over a week.

I'm playing Disney Bingo with DD. . We got the game a few years ago when we hosted a DCL House Party. That was so much fun!!!
