A couple of random observations and a Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Moment:

1) Try not to arrive in a major city that you are not all familiar with at 5pm.

2) ALWAYS yield the right of way to streetcars and other forms of light rail.

Did it look like this right beforehand?

That doesn't look very inviting! I saw the front of a storm once and the cloud looked like a UFO! It was the craziest thing I had ever seen! I was so mad I didn't have my camera with me. But that won't happen ever again...the iPhone takes better pictures than my P&S camera and I have that with me all the time!

Last night I went out the front door of our house (usually come in/out through garage) and found my poor little pansies all dried up. I forgot I had a pot out front. I do remember to water the tomatoes and herbs in the back.

Poor little pansies! I haven't had to worry about watering anything this year. I never had time to get to the store and buy any flowers to plant. But, even if I DID, I guess I still wouldn't have had to worry too much about watering with all the rain we've gotten this year!

First of all this is the government we are talking about, illegitimate claims happen all the time. This is a legit incident with witnesses so it will be taken care of. Second of all it's just a bruise as far as I can tell and I will use caution till Monday. And third, I posted this tidbit of my day to get some sympathy to help me feel better but then Deb berated me and the conversation turned for the worse and my foot has felt worse all night!!!!!!

I'm going to Vegas with my mom. Junior is staying home with the kids. I'll miss them, but it's sure nice to spend time with my mom, too. And with Junior working 4-5 nights a week at his part time gig, I soooooo need a break from the kids.
