pretty soon have to give them time to adjust to two kids, then i start buying disney stuff.

I just got a new GALAXY NOTE phone. Since im technically challenged my son put mant Disney apps on it. Even when i turn it on its Disneyfied. Even the ringer is the DCL horn!!!

Hi, Laura & Ian..Just got home from Disney's Vero Beach. So relaxing.
Bill (dh) and I, Ev (dw) will be in cabin 8000. Right smack in the middle of the front of the ship under bridge. Never been up front on a cruise before. Should be interesting. We also have been on several Celebrity cruises. It really is my cruise line of choice..2nd to Disney, of course. Looking forward to hearing from you and meeting all the other singles (parents-grandparents, without kids). Jst a few short months!

HI EV, thats funy that you have cabin 8000. Laura and I had cabin 8002 in DEC and this coming DEC we have cabin 8002 and 8000. Cabin 8002 was over sized, lots of floor space. They classify those cabins as a lower catergory because of the blocked view. The view isnt blocked. When you look out the 4 foot porthole your looking straight ahead at the bow. If you look down you see the teen area. Its very white and bright in the sun Your not far from the elevators that take you up to the adult pool and spa area. The only drawback we found was, if the water is rough you go upppppppppppp and downnnnnnnnnnnn.
The worst part of the 4 day cruise is leaving Port Canaveral, your in the Atlantic most of the evening and early night. The ship is going fast to get to the Bahamas and its the Atlantic. Last Dec we had 50 mph winds hitting the side of the ship. The bow of the ship was going up and down enough that when I stepped in the cabin it felt like the floor dropped from my feet. Laura felt sick. We had dinner arrangements for Palos at 8pm. We made it to the centre of the ship where you didnt feel the motion as bad. But had to cancel Palo. They were nice and rebooked it for Wed nite. After that the rest of the cruise was calm. But it wasnt bad enough to discourage us from booking that cabin again.

I just thought I would share that we have decided on our transportation option. When I checked the travelocity website today looking for car rentals, they had full size cars from Sixt for $85 per week. Since we are arriving on 9/6 and leaving the day the cruise gets back, we decided to just keep the car and park at the port. It will actually be cheaper than taking Disney transportation... Not sure I will stay with Sixt, I will probably keep watching and book one of the in-terminal car rental companies if their price gets down to the $85 a week range. They usually drop the prices a couple of weeks before arrival....

LET ME KNOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO THE FE. ALSO WHERE ARE YOU STAYING BEFORE AND AFTER? WE HAVE DONE A FEW CARIBBEAN CELEBRITY 10 and 11 day CRUISES OUT OF SAN JUAN. NEXT YEAR WE ARE DOING B2B 7 DAY CARIBBEAN CRUISES ON THE SUMMIT OUT OF SAN JUAN. I THINK 10 DIFFERENT ISLANDS.

oopppss mix up on the abbreviations I believe, I requested to join the FB (Facebook page) I was just giving a shout out to the administrator of the FB page so he/she would know that I requested to join the group on FB. Were going to pass doing the FE (fish extenders) on this cruise since were doing it in December on the Fantasy!

Anyone else have problems with DCL website. Pulled up reservation and has wrong itinerary and would not let me book anything. Had to make several phone calls and 90min later I supposedly have the items I wanted booked. However can't really confirm anything tonight because information on website is still wrong.
