Have not been all that active on the boards- but have been reading. Looking forward to meeting you all this weekend. Can't believe it's almost here. This is an anniversary celebration for my husband and myself also and we are also greandparents traveling without the kids They would love it but.... Guess it's our turn to play- or will tell them I had to try it out first to see if it was ok for you. Ths will be our first Disney cruise.
We will be staying a few nights at our home BCV after the cruise. See you Sunday.

We took the 11 grandkids (and their six parents) on our 40th wedding anniversary cruise on the Dream last October-- had a blast and then decided to have a Disney cruise BY OURSELVES next. Booked this one AND a "trial" one this past June. The Disney Cruises are definitely for adults traveling alone, too, we found!!! Have a GREAT trip!!!

Help! I just read on the Facebook page, when doing the FE it is one gift per person per DAY? I swear someone on here told me one gift per person for the whole cruise? Which is it???

We are only bringing one gift per person for the whole cruise. That is my assumption

Evolutions at 3 sounds good. We are grandparents traveling without kids or grandkids in tow - sound like we're not the only ones. We purchased DVC at OKW in 1995 and added on some points at BLT. We have hosted the family at the two resorts and will be doing so again at OKW at Thanksgiving, but it will be just the two of us for the cruise. I've wanted to try a member cruise for several years and am glad to be going.

We can't wait to meet everyone! We have been here at BCV and now BLT all week. Very warm with some rain but no big downpours. I guess I need to start assembling the FE gift bags! We have been too busy playing Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom over at the MK. We also had a great time at the Halloween Party on Tuesday night! Now on to cruisin'!!

i see on the hurricane site there is another storm brewing off the coast of south america. It hasnt formed yet but it could bring wind and rain. Lets hope it disappears

what is sorcerers?

It is a new "game" at the Magic Kingdom. You check in at the old fire station and they give you training and a package of 5 cards with spells on them (they are Disney themed but look like Magic or Pokemon cards). You then get a map to where the "portals" are and you go from portal to portal attempting to defeat the Villans! It is very fun, especially if the wait times for rides is long. There are 70 different cards you can get with a limit of one package of 5 per day per person. You can try different spell cards on different villians by holding the card up to the portal. It uses image recognition to determine what card you are holding up. The portals are oval HD screens that change depending on the special key card that you present to "open" the portal. You can continue playing the same game and get to higher levels by using the same key card when you come back to the MK.
