I can relate to the bad weather Darcy. I live in New Jersey. We got slammed with the winter storm over the weekend. I actually live in Ocean City so it was more freezing rain and sleet. Then of course we got flooding. I am at work now (Monday). Coming over the bridge my truck did a little spin in the ice. I was so scared. I hate cold weather. Bring on DISNEY SOON!!!

Thanks to all for all the warm weather wishes! It is actually up to 13 degrees now, but most importantly the sun is out! yipee! I think we have gotten through the worst of it, but i do feel bad for the east coasters! Hope you are doing welle Annae! stay safe and warm! Missyoh-so not too bad down in southern Ohio? That is good to hear!

Darcy.........

We had -11 (w/o wind chill) this morning when I got up :earseek: . We did not get the snow we expected however and we probably have about 6 inches on the ground. I actually was pricing 3 or 4 day cruises for next January it is so bad!!

Hi All,
I am booked on the 8/19/06 Cruisin Castaways, but the prices for this sailing are waaaaay better!! LOL

We have a Cat 12 GTY booked for $3059, and this sailing I can get a Cat 8 for $2800.

Should I book the Cat 8 or Cat 9?

So can I stowaway on this ship and save some money?

This is how we pick our cruises............

Go to the allseas website....
Scroll down to the cheapest cruise.......
Book the least expensive cruise they have...........

We were luck enough to get adjoining sph rooms for this cruise, which makes it extra cheap. WhoooooooooHoooooooooo

Ok, It is done!

I am now booked on the 9/16/06 and I moved up to a Cat 9 and saved $400!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

That is half our airfare! It's all Hurricane season so Im not any more worried about that than I was before. I will definitely buy the insurance.

Allseas moved everything over for me so it was very easy.

All the SPH rooms were gone.

Thank you! Glad to be aboard! What's everyone doing for insurance? I am waiting to get ours but will definitely purchase it, I just want to do some more research first.

I love all the new smilies!
:dancer:

Liferbabe, Welcome to our every growing group of double scoop castaway cay cruisers!
Now about insurance, as a former Hurricane Jeanne cruiser-I swear by travelex insurance-they were great and cheap! they paid for darn near all our extra traveling expenses (hotel (5 star hotel actually) food, gas and even the charge to change the flight going back home!) it was so easy as well, just filled out the form i printed online and sent in copies of everything i had. which was alot. I know there are some other good ones out there as well. you can go here to compare. http://www.totaltravelinsurance.com/index.asp?v=13419
Come on 2006!
DArcy

I booked straight through Disney for the cruise and took their insurance. Do you think that is good enough?

Annae,
i would look into the other insurance options-i seem to remember DCL charging much more and not being as effecient as the others-anyone else hear that?

Is it wrong that DH and I aren't too terrible excited about this cruise yet? It just seems sooo far away. Unless I look at how much we need to save. Then it seems like it is just around the corner! :earboy2:

PS. This is just an attempt to keep the thread up and running! I am SO excited! So much in fact that I have, much to the dismay of my DH, been doing this dance  !

I am excited to get to sail with you guys again! And somehow I can picture you doing that dance. The only reason Steve and I booked this cruise so soon after our 05/27/06 is to be able to sail with you all again!

 :mickeybar :rotfl2:
I love the new smilies-how is everyone's February going? Sitting at work 1:30 am, it finally slowed done-I think we have seen everyone in the city tonight. Hope all are well. Just talked with a co-worker who got back from a RC cruise (mariner of the seas-i think) and had nothing but awful things to say about them. I told him to do Disney-they never listen! He is already looking into DCL cruises for 2006. :charac2:
Take care!
Darcy
