Momofteen...let page 234 be an example of the addiction to posting :)

Thea, I had planned to purchase Rainforest for the whole week but Ive decided to only pay when I can go. I know it will cost more but if I had the week pass I would feel pressured to go everyday and at this point there is so much to do in one day I may not have the time.

whoo hoo...is that top of the page and post 3500 for me!

I think ive accomplished more on our board than I did at work today!

awwwh...thank you!!...but dont jump the gun...I dont know what might pop out of my mouth when I see the tats in person :rotfl:

Go ahead and get your moon jokes ready! You'll probably say the same thing I said when I saw it..."***??" Cindy said something like "what the he** did you do to your head?" So I am expecting something similar from you! :rotfl:

Haha too funny, I refer to Rekha's hair as bush too!!!! Oh and the cut came out great...also bought some hair care stuff, defining creme and leave in conditioner by so hopefully that bush will become sleek blades of grass!!!

I am really bummed we won't be able to bring gel and creams on carry on 'cause Mekayla needs about four different kinds to keep her hair "good" How is Rekha's hair cut? I would love to cut "Miss Thing's" hair, but she has demanded I let it grow {sure doesn't seem to be getting longer, just bigger!}

Me too, I guess I'll just suck it up and get day passes. :thumbsup2

What you do is your business, I think we have a great group of people here that is above flaming :goodvibes

And if my kids can stay up POC is a go.

Since January I haven't seen a single child (except Mekayla) post so Gail, think of us as your adult sounding board! You are in the safety zone when you post on this thread! No Flamers here...we're all adults...

Mekayla might see the beginning of the movie, but there's no way we're gonna' make it to the credits! :rotfl: Even if she's wide awake, I know I won't be... so a little fireworks, a little chocolate and maybe a sneak peak of Captain Jack, then it's off to dream land for us!

My boss came into my office today and looked at the computer screen and saw all the emoticons in the right hand of the screen and just shook her head and walked out! Ha !! The evil boss was defeated by the DIS Boards! :cool1: My boss' name is Lucy... we call her Lucifer...so, I am a Witch who works for Lucifer! :stir: Ha Ha Ha! I never thought of that before :rotfl: :lmao:

I am thinking about buying an ipod or a scan disk music player before the trip...anyone own one? Can you give me ideas on what's a good buy?

I have an iPod and love it, its really easy to use and update. I use my one almost daily especially if I'm travelling out of town with work, I also wear it on my bike to/from work or in the car through the stereo. I download Disney podcasts to listen to which keep the magic alive too!

My partner Robert has an iRiver which is good but not as easy to use software wise as the iPod - he said he'd get an iPod next time.

Dont feel bad about it Gail, I love my friends, but I cant imagine any of them staying for more than a night or two.

I may also give in on the new pj's. I was thinking of splurging and getting Disney ones but I will wait until im in Orlando.

I gave in on the pajama's also. We are venturing to the mall this weekend. They usually have huge Labor Day Sale's anyway.

This reminds me of a funny story that I don't think I have told you guys. If I did, I'm sorry for repeating it. Anyway, DD had a science test a week or so ago over plants and one of the definitions was "cell". Well, after church on that Sunday, we went to a local Mexican restaurant for lunch. We were waiting for our food to be served and I thought I would just quiz her a little bit. I asked her if she knew what a "cell" was and she said, "Yes, it's when the stores at the mall lower the prices on the clothes because they are getting ready to get new ones in." I laughed so hard that everyone in the restaurant looked at us. I couldn't help it.

Im hoping to be able to part from those tantalizing dinner menus to do some casual dinners at Topsiders too.

Great! Maybe we will see you there some evenings. I think if I ate that many huge meals I'd be absolutely miserable by the end of the cruise anyway.

Oh, the flaming this was a joke. We had discussed on her a few weeks ago about how shocked I was when I read some of the other threads and saw how mean some people were to the others who posted. Whether to tip or not to tip seemed to be one of the topics that brought out the meanest comments, so I was joking about being flamed.

How big is Rainforest? I am trying to figure out how many people it will accomodate at one time. I am assume it accomodates many or they would require reservations like they do for the other things. Is there a better or worse time to go?

WWW - you asked about mp3 players...I have an Ipod nano, and my DD has my old Ipod shuffle. We love them both. I got the shuffle for Christmas last year, but I didn't like it as well because it has no screen so you can't scroll through and pick what song you want to hear. The Nano has that, so I can go straight for Jimmy Buffet or whatever I am in the mood for!

BTW, I missed the time and location for the DisMeet, can someone clue me in? I always say I am going to the DisMeet, and I forget or miss it, and never know who anyone is the rest of the cruise!

It is on deck 10, left side, right after the drill. That's what I have written down in my notes anyway, but now that I think about it I can't remember if it is after the drill or after the sail away party. Can someone help us out?

Okay guys. Where is everyone? I promised Amanda that I would get 1000 posts before we sail. I am running out of time. I need someone to talk to me.

We just ordered our daughter an Ipod video... we liked it so much we ordered two more.... They have disney channel shows for $1.99/each on iTunes... or you can buy a whole season for some amt.

We also downloaded software that lets us rip shows from our Tivo to the ipod format. I think DD should be good and busy for the plane ride.

DH has an Ipod video and he loves it. I got him the adaptor that lets you download picture from your digital camera onto it. It was so nice to have on our Alaskan cruise. On our last Disney vacation we didn't have a very big video card and had to delete some pictures in order to have room to take pictures each day. Well not this time. I am going to take sooooo many pictures!!!!!!

Can you imagine not tipping? That just seems mean. On our Alaskan cruise the charge the tips to the room automatically, but we had the choice to stop that and tip directly, which we did. That way we knew who was getting the tips. We had great servers and wanted to make sure that got more than the average. Plus there were a couple of waiters in the bar that were great to DH and I. But for the life I me I still don't understand tipping the Head Server. On our last cruise I only saw him on the first and last night for a total of 20 minutes.
