They used to, then I learned why they act they way. They are either jealous, or just unhappy people who I can never try to change, so I won't try.

Well today begins the first of three parties for my birthday. This afternoon my family is having a bbq. Northwest style, Alakan salmon. Then tonight my girlfriends are throwing me a slumber party. Yes you read that right, a slumber party. Then tomorrow Eric is taking me out for my actual birthday to dinner. This is going to be intresting! :joker:

Happy Birthday, Amanda! Have fun! :cake:

Everyone have a great weekend! Just five more weeks!!! :jumping1:

Even though it is a day early HAPPY BIRTHDAY girlfriend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Amanda01

Just got back last night, hope everyone is well!

I feel so out of the loop. Being in the bushes for 4 days was so isolating (in a good way) I didnt even know what the daily weather would be.

Came back to the news out of the UK, exactly what I needed to add to my existing paranoia of flying!

Is there a site that confirms what is allowed in carry ons....I usually carry all of my toiletries in my carry on (less for the airlines to lose and avoiding something bursting in my suitcase and making a mess).

Amanda and all going to MNSSHP I order my tickets yesterday but uhm have you seen this thread? If the info is true I will be asking for a refund on my tickets..

I just sent Disney an email! If that's true I will be very unhappy! How can they have all these people buy tickets and they take away the photo! I mean come on! That was half the reason we bought the tickets. :furious:

For some reason I can't get into the site you guys are talking about but reading between the lines if you guys are talking about them not taking the photos and sending them to you in the mail any longer. It is true, when we went to the christmas party last year they were letting it be known that it was the last time for the photos.
But it is a really good time, even without the photos. We enjoy it....

bahogg they are also saying they are no longer going to clear the parks of non ticket holders. That is the main problem I have what is the purpose of buying a ticket then?

There's an issue on the table about the photos...frankly, I didn't even know there were photos...we didn't do them last time...no biggie for me.

The other issue is that the park will not be closed to the general public and swept before the party; allowing all those day guests to take up precious parade route room and character greet line increases. WDW says non-ticketed people for the event won't be able to ride rides...if they're even noticed... but the fireworks, parades and character trick or treats will be open to all. That's the big issue I have. We'll see what happens.

Okay now I'm Mad......

Why did I pay for 3 adult tickets and 2 child tickets, just to ride rides?????

We will be at the park for 10 days after the cruise and my kids can ride all the rides they want, if this is true I will be asking for a refund. The park is already crowded with people that buy the ticket now there is going to be extra people??????

I think I will be doing some research on this one. If anyone else finds out anything more keep us updated. This is really crazy.

Oh Honey, I'll be right there with you! Their gonna see one pissed off pirate! pirate: Mekayla gets so embarrased when I flip out on people...I don't think I have ever flipped out on a Disney CM ~ there's always a first time for everything. I called to get a refund on my tickets, and I was told I had to call back Monday and talk to a supervisor as refunds generally aren't given....

I am getting warmed up... :furious:

hmmm well I will wait for more of a confirmation that this indeed will be happening before requesting a refund, but there will be request from me if they are not going to require non paying guests to leave....

on one of the MNSSHP threads this was posted...they got further than I did... I couldn't figure out how to "quote" and enter on a new thread, I just copied and pasted, these are not my words...they are someone else's:
looks like a troll may have been at work...

Disneyaggie wrote ~ "I just called the Disney Switchboard (407-824-4321) and asked for a supervisor. I spoke with Ginger. She works "on behalf" of the supervisors (whatever that means).

Anyway, this is what she said, "What you said is a rumor. You must have a wristband to stay in the park. Anyone without one will be asked to leave by security and/or a CM."

I then asked, "Well what if they just want to stay to watch the parade and/or the fireworks"? She responded, "Absolutely not. They must have a wristband." She did add that it is virtually impossible to make sure everyone has a wristband, but that security and the CM's watch for them.

We will see . . .

Oh, she also said that the park is scheduled to close at 6:00pm to decorate, not 7:00pm as some have heard. Again, we will see."

Thank you Thea, it was great!

I only wish I had booked for more than four days, I tried to extend for two more days but it would have meant moving to a new lot and that would be too much work.

Wierd thing happened, on the last day I stopped to get gas, I filled up and then at the register my bank card got declined...my heart jumped to my throat cause I knew I had money....the cashier tried a few times but it failed...thank god for credit cards...well today checked with my bank and they cut off my card cause they suspected fraud (not by me)...well I had to get a new card but I asked them why would they completely cut it off and not allow authorization by phone...what would I have done if I didnt have any credit cards, 3 hours from the city in the bush with a tank full of gas I couldnt pay for???? They had no answer for me...so keep in mind everyone always have somekind of back up to your bank debit card!!!

This happened to Eric and I on our honeymoon on our last DCL cruise. Our bank saw all these random charges in FL when they know we live in OR. So they shut off DH's card. Thankfully I had mine. The kicker was that I worked for the bank. Anyway the best way to avoid this is to call your bank and credit card companies and let them know the dates that you will be in FL. That way they will know to expect the charges. It was really scary when we tried to pay for our stateroom charges and it was denied, but I was really happy to see how on even such a small accout they were watching out for us.
