It's never too late to plan the fun.
I am staying at the Radisson on the Friday before we sail. If there is anyone else on the thread who is also staying, please let me know and we will decide on a time for Dis Meet at the Radisson on Sept 15th. Any time after noon will be good for me.
As for t-shirts, I like all three graphics designed by Sirena. I just printed them on regular paper and they look great. What do you guys say we select one as our official cruise shirt and we all get them. We can either print them on iron-on transfers and put them on lime green t-shirts (as I understand it, that is the official Dis color), or I can check to see if I can get them printed for us. Because I am on the basketball boosters at the local high school, and we order a huge number of t-shirts each year from this one graphics place, I can sometimes get amazing deals on them. Let me know your thoughts.
I think that lunch at Cookies at noon is an easy one to plan. I am assuming that we will probably all be eating there at about the same time anyway. We would just need to decide on Sunday or Friday
As for the Dis sail away party, the Cost Maya Breakfast and the Deck & Cheese and Wine parties, if you guys are interested, lets just decide on a time. The sail away party may be the hardest because people with early dinning may not be able to make it. I think the May DD Disers did this at 3:00 instead of after the sail away party. That may be a better choice so that everyone can make it. Costa Maya Breakfast at 7:30 sounds great to me, and as for now DD and I are planning to head to Mahajaul Beach (thanks to the pictures of the $20.00 massages), but we would be willing to change plans if everyone else is heading in a different direction. I also realize, and am not offended by it, that some of the adults who are cruising without children may want to head in a different direction than those of us who do have them. What do you all think?
I still have not paid for the bracelets and pins. Do we know yet how much and how to pay?
I have one more idea if anyone is interested. On the
DCL picture thread, there is a picture posted where a large group of Disers all meet on Pirates night and took a group picture in the costumes. I would love to have one of these. Is this something that could be done without too much inconveniece?
I don't mind doing anything that I can to help organize any of these things. I am at a slight disadvantage because I have never cruised before. I don't know what previous groups have done and I don't know what is reasonable to expect people to do. I will be the only adult in my group, so I will have far more time for these activities than some of you will. Anyway, if there is anything that needs to be done to organize any of these things, or anything else that you may want, please don't hesitate to ask me to help.
I wanted BRUNCH!!! Oh well! I went back and everything is gone, gone, gone! Hey let's get two more people for brunch! Come on people, Amanda and I don't want to have to force our DH to come, they wont be happy about it!
