OMG I just got a Palo Brunch! I was thinking that they were all gone! I was looking in the wrong section. Yeah sleep depervation!!!!!!

Good morning all and Happy Father's Day.

I should have stayed up to try and make reservations since I slept so horribly last night. I'm trying now as we speak in another window. I don't think my CC i.d. is linked to my res. either.

Anyway- congrats to everyone who got what they wanted! We just want tea (and Flounders for tea), late Palo dinner- but we're waiting to see our rotation so we can book this on PC night, and spa which we have to book on board. So I guess we're going to have another wake up really early and drive really fast from Orlando embarkation morning so we can be near the front of the line to get ressies.

We'll be in DW from the 12th. We're staying one night in the Poly on points (I know, the people on the DVC board say this is a total waste, but I always wanted to stay there) then we'll be at BCV from the 13th. We didn't want to overwhelm Madalyn, and weren't sure how she'd do. If her crazy behavior in the Disney store is an indication, we're in trouble. We'll need to get some reins for her because she went wild in there. She was a little nutty at Hershey Park too, so I think I have an amusement park/Disney fiend. I think we'll be the ones who are overwhelmed.

Any tips on potty training a two year old in a couple months? She's really going to want to go in the pool.

Julie,
I potty trained my DD in one weekend. I bought a video about Potty Training: Big Bear in a Blue House. And she watched the video and went to the bathroom about 20 times while watching it. I am not kidding you. Right there and then she stopped wearing diapers. I also read Dr. Phil's steps to potty training (I'm sure you can google it) and got some ideas. You can make it happen in a few days. Good luck!

Thanks Ilonka. She just turned two, and her speech is somewhat delayed. Not sure if it's due to her cleft lip/gum issue or the English as a second language issue (I think it's that, personally, and that she spoke a lot more Chinese with her foster family than the orphanage director knew about) so we'll definitely have problems with verbal expression "I have to go", etc. But we'll work on it.

Even more reason to try the visuals. Give it a try and if she's ready, she would pick it up faster than what you may think.

I got through to reservations online about 30 minutes ago, I couldn't get on until close to 1:15am, I didn't know you guys were here doing the countdown to midnight, or I would have joined you but there were no Palo Brunches left, we only got Dinner on Monday Guess I'll be one of the poor shleps going to Palo on embarkation day to book a brunch. What happened to all the Brunches? It's a conspiracy I tell ya'.

thea we had serious issues too, but finally at about 340am I was able to get and get what I needed...PITA if you ask me!

I got in and booked everything. Had to get off my laptop and go to the old computer.
Palo brunch monday, dinner friday.
Fury Catamaran in Cozmel, dune buggy in Coata maya,

Eco tour on CC sunday and of couse floats for both days.

Now I am going to try to slepp for three hours.

WOW..When I did ours about 340am ther was brunch left for everyday, but ONLY if i changed the filter to be 3-4 people. Even at the 1st poss time to sign on, there was no brunch avble for 1-2 people. So hopefully that will make you feel a little better.
AND not to make you feel worse, but we never could get brunch on board in May. We were boarded early, but once we got there the waiting list was so long, we put our names on it but no go. Remember there are only 2 sea days on this cruise. Hold onto your high tes, and try again when the newbies do it in 15 days and they open up more ressies. I can assure that on the May cruise there were more ressies released for the newbies.

Thea what times? We booked 10 am Sunday, and just in case that falls thru 3 pm Sat...
Also we booked the seahorse catamaran snorkle adventure on Fri, is anyone going to do that? One of the cruises on my may double dip said it was some of the best snorkling they did the whole trip

Got up at 8am uk time so no lie in for me. Glad I did cause I got all we wanted.
Nature walk and kayak Sunday at CC, Parasailing on Friday at CC, Palo brunch Thursday and palo dinner on Thursday.

We are up to 10 on a DIS private brunch. Again, no promises, but I think we have enough to request the private room, ALSO even if you have already told me yes to brunch, please send me a PM titled PALO Brunch with you first and Last name, and ressie number, so I dont accidentally delete your info like I already have! DUH on me!

Good Morning! I just read through the thread and it sounds like some of you had success and some didn't. I was very disapponted to hear that the Palo ressies for brunch are already all gone. I was hoping this would not happen. I am really concerned that our excursions will all book up. The last time I called Disney, I was told that there were still a significant number of staterooms available with rooms left in every category 4-12. The CM said that it was being attributed to the heavy hurricane season last year and the fact that they schedule one of the special ten day cruises on the wonder to sail on Sunday, Sept 17th. That one has several categories already booked full. Anyway, I was hoping that this would mean there would be noone on our ship but DISers and we would get everything we wanted.

By the way, I can't remember which Amanda I needed to PM about Palo Brunch, but if it's not too late, I want in.

Gail, I marked you down as a yes for brunch. Dont worry, more ressies will be released on you 75 day mark. It sounds good based on what DCL told you.

Morning all! Well I had to call DCL this morning. It seems that my castaway club number was in in the system, it just wasn't link to our reservations. So I couldn't make any reservations last night. But I was able to get it fixed and make the ones I wanted with the exception of the Palo brunch. No luck there.

That ticks me off! You did your part to get a ressie but because they screwed up you missed out on brunch!!!!!!!

gaw...you would ask that!!!! I know I know I just cant remember! haha for some reason the number 16 calls out to me, BUT that was on a 4 day cruise............hmmmm
