Im gonna snag the milestone 1100 since no one else has.....

Congrates on the #1100. I noticed a couple nights ago that it was getting close. Does this make you a pirate?

I was just wondering if anyone on the thread is planning a trip to WDW before the cruise. I don't mean like the days before, but sometime between June and September. My DD and I were planning to go to DL and the Southern Cal. in genereal for June, but the other people we were going with backed out and so now we are considering just planning a trip to WDW instead. It would be great if a bunch of us could meet there before the cruise and do a few things together.

Hi friends!! :Pinkbounc

A BIG HELLO from TADsMommy (Karen). :wave2:

I have been really out of touch for several months but have tried to catch up on recent posts and am now in serious planning mode. :yay:

recap: Dave and I are taking our first Disney cruise without kids (we have 3: DS10,DD11,DD12). We have been on a 4day Wonder to celebrate dd end of chemo in Feb-04, and the 14day Magic thru the Panama Canal in May-05. I am excited to celebrate our 15th anniversary in style this September, but I am not quite totally comfortable leaving the kids for a week (they on the other hand are very much looking forward to a week in Colorado with Grandma and Grandpa). I think it will take all of 20 seconds to hear our welcome as we enter the ship and then grab a Bahama Mama for my comfort level to be well under control!! ;)

I am excited to participate in (and would be happy to help coordinate) a DIS meet for sailaway. We received so many wonderful keepsakes last May from the Panama DIS group. We also would like to participate in T-shirts, bags, buttons or other items that someone more expert than I can personalize for this trip.

I hope to get to know some/many/all of the DISers better before joining you onboard. September is only 6 months away!! :woohoo:

Gail,
We wll be there May 20th thru 27th..when we will then board the Magic for the first double scoop! I would love to meet up with you if you all are there at the time...

Hi Amanda ... and all!!

We clever individuals leaving the little ones at home can celebrate our bravery at Serenity Bay and numerous late night hot spots onboard. :woohoo:

I particularly enjoy bingo and the fun comedy-type shows and would love a tablemate or two to share the laughs with. :rotfl2:

Dave really loves shuffleboard and chip and putt. We officially challenge any and all takers to couples team shuffleboard. :cheer2:

Karen :earboy2:

Karen, we are alte seating and are already linked with Amanda01. You guys should join us, if you are late seating as well...

Cool! We are late seating (how else could we squeeze in afternoon chicken fingers?!?) and would love to join up with you guys. Are you requesting any specific rotation? Any restaurant requests for formal night, etc.? We have no preference. We will be doing at least one brunch and most like at least one dinner at Palos during the 7days. :woohoo:

Please PM me your rez# and your "real" name(s) so we can link up. :grouphug:

Does anyone have a picture or link for our t-shirts yet?

I am not that organized! LOL I am trying to get thru my May cruise first! LOL Rez #?? I do not know...maybe Amanda can get you hers since we are already linked and then you will be linked up with us....We had so much fun together when we sailed in 2004! I wish she lived closer to me! BUT we do tend to be a bit "colorful" in the language dept.....if that offends you may rethink! LOL But we would love to have you sit with us!

I can take a little "color" during dinner. ;)

I also understand your "one cruise at a time" mentality. We just returned from a short 4day Mexican Carnival cruise (okay, but definitely NOT Disney) with my family and both sets of grandparents. It made me miss the Magic.

Hey, I would at least like a top of page for all this activity!!

Has anyone looked into who the entertainment will be in September, or what shows will be onboard??

Has anyone tried Parasailing on Castaway Cay?? We are hoping to get a spot.

Does anyone have tips for Cozomel?? I would love to start planning a few things, but have so many questions!!

Good! hahaha I woulndt want to offend you! THat is one reason why I am hesitant to try a different cruise line. I feel like i owuld miss the Magic/Wonder/, But I am seriously thinking of trying the freedom of the seas next time we cruise after 2006...

Karen we did parasailing in CC in 2003! It was reptty neat! ANd I am very scared of heights! I think we may try it again on one of htese double dip cruises....As far as Coz goes, you do know that there is a good chance that we may not go there right?

We are going on a Princess cruise to Alaska in June, so I'll see how the non-disney service is. I really don't know if it's for us though. We aren't big gamlblers and were very non-athletic. It's a cruise that the entire family is going on to celebrate my inlaws 40th anniversary. So its really not a pleasure cruise. :earboy2: But I have a feeling that it will be one of only a few non-DCL cruises we will take in our lifetime. I am too addicted to DCL to branch out.

As far as the parasailing, I really want to try it but DH is very scared of hights. He had trouble on the Summit plummit in Blizzard Beach. So we'll see!

Hey guys - sorry I have been out of pocket - my computer died and then I have just been busy. I am getting very excited even though we still have a while - I had to book my flight just to be doing something lol!
Hope all is well with you all!
Merry

Ok - that is strange the disboards clock must be messed up - it showing about 30 mins fast LOL.
