Enjoy your day off. Where did you get that bumper sticker? I would love one. It is a beautiful day here in Florida and I am at work. it is suppossed to rain all day tomorrow. I hope the weekends get nicer soon.

Any 4 yr old girls? My DD4 did not want to stay at the Club last time b/c she felt alone...

You have to share where your got that sticker. I have to have one!!! Well I am all for matching shirts. I can just see all of us in the port with our lime green shirts on. That would be a hoot! Hey I wanted to ask how you ordered the CC stuff for the ship? I still can't figure it out.

I am also on the 1st double dip..our shirts are not going to be lime green they are going to be grey..they look really neat..

We on the 05/27 are hoping for Grand Cayman...I REALLY dont want Key West. I was not impressed last time....

tstobb, do you still feel you got a good rate for this week since the cruise is only 7 months out. I booked in 2004 for this one, and I was wondering if the rates have gone up much...

I think that we got an excellent rate - we paid about what I would have expected if FL resident rates were available (still hoping that the do come up!). I booked through DU (thanks Sue Ellen!) and know from past experience that they also keep an eye on the rates and will let us know if they drop.

Princess Amanda, which vendor did you guys use for the shirts? I asked chip_n_dale off your other cruises thread, and she (he?) shot me down and wouldn't cough up the vendor name.... :confused3

Eric's Amanda, I am going to go back to the DCL website to see where I ordered, I went to the Castaway Cay member area but I have also read that it's available in the main areas of the site, too. I don't know my CC number off hand but I'll look and see it it's the same as the regular excursion bag.

I bought the sticker off ebay. How do you post a picture? I am such a technopeasant. :scratchin

The best way I have found to post pictures is to take the picture, load it onto the computer. Then you go to photobucket.com an set up your own account. It's free. Then you download your picture to the site. It will give you the the pictures link so you can use it on here. I love because I can send my mom an email and she can look at any new picture I have up. By the way if you want to look at my album it's listed here are my pages. By the way I have to give credit where credit is due. Thanks Amanda for showing me photobucket! :thumbsup2

Hey wildwoman! LOL I obviously did not reead what chipdale wrote to you, but please remember that sometimes the tone of something doesnt come through via the screen. I have been talking to Irene (chipndale) for over a year now, and from what I know of her, she is not snarky at all. She is very very friendly, so if you felt she was being rude, I am sorry. I can almost guarentee you that she wasnt. of course I did not read what she wrote so I am not for certain!LOL As far as the shirts go, I truly do not know. On our thread, BWVPam and TiggerNY are handling the shirts and the bags for us. They are using a woman that was in BWVpams local mall, in TX. If you are anyone else wants to step up and take the lead about trying trying to organize shirts and what not, I would be glad to get the info. One of our posters has been maintaining a website for us, she keeps all of our info (names kids staterooms etc etc, info about the bags and shirts, pictures and pre-cruise meet pics!) It has been great! I would love to have something like that for this cruise, but so far no one has stepped up. And I do not know how to do webpages....A while back, I think it was Rhonda, said she would, I snet a pic to her, but I dont hink anyone else did, and I think she never got a webpage set up for us.....Anyway , let me know guys :teeth:

You are welcome dear friend!

Counting down... It's 20 something degress here, and the high is supposed to be 32. I can't wait to be somewhere warm.

Welcome to the new cruisers. Is someone doing a list of everyone with kids' ages? I know there are a lot of 8 year olds (ds will be 8), but any 11-12 yo girls?

Princess Amanda- the baby is doing great. If Nate's not potty trained either, they can play in the ear together. I'm going to try and get Madalyn started.

Also- big surprise- we're going to adopt again. Why not go into debt for a kid, right? When we have a website set up, I'll let everyone know so you can come visit and click on our ads (if blogger lets us have them).

If you need someone to do a list, or start a blog or something for the cruise, I'm willing to give it a try. I know darcy was doing it but they're no longer coming with us. :(

Take care,
Julie

I agree with Princess A. The kids didn't like Key West at all. We went on our first cruise. We weren't there long.

We loved Grand Cayman, but what about a port in Belize- it's not far from Costa Maya. Or maybe something up in Cancun- closer to Xcarat? Anyone know if that would be possible?

We've been to Nassau-- Atlantis was very cool. It would be interesting to look into getting a day pass, especially if their waterpark is done.

Julie
(still can't think of a good name for our new blog) :crazy2:

We love Nassau for 1 resaon - the ship empties out and we have it to ourselves
We've done the Atlantis tour a couple of times and aren't really into casinos and can't see spending as much as they charge for a day room to use their slides for the day so it is a perfect opportunity for us to take advantage of an empty Rainforest room, discounted spa treatments, no hunting for tables at the buffet, etc.
I do like to get off for a bit in Nassau just to look at the other ships that are docked for the day but, even then, it's much more fun to see the other lines' passengers looking longingly at our beautiful ship. I'll never forget our 1st cruise when they used to have fireworks on the Wonder while docked in Nassau. One of the Carnival ships was docked next to us and my DW and I had to laugh at the people on board, standing next their "Fun Ship" banner, looking forlornly as there was a party rocking on deck 9 of the Wonder!

We never sailed DCL to Nassau- we were on RCCL Sovereign (just me and dh) when we were there. But I can see the point that a day pass would be way too $$$$. The tour guide who took us out there told us they were planning a huge water park there. He was a blast- if you've ever seen Mel Brooks this guy was the Caribbean Mel Brooks. (Yeah I'm dating myself and showing what a lame sense of humor I have here).

Julie

Ugh, I am so cranky with the photo thing...why can't everything be easy? :confused3 I looked at the dcl web site, the bag I bought and the toiletry bag can be purchased by anyone, not just CC members. :rotfl: I'll work on the photos.
