I missed two days and read three pages! I haven't packed yet, and with the ren faire this weekend, I am wondering when I'll have the time! Ya'll are a chatty bunch now...I'm gonna' be away from the computer a lot, cause I have to get things together for this weekend, then again for Wedensday the 13th when we leave! We're so close now!

I had to get everything done early to because we have a little local festival this weekend. It's called the Gingerbread Festival. There is homemade gingerbread everywhere. The Gingerbread Festival Committee makes the world's largest gingerbread boy. They pull through the parade on a float and then they slice it up and serve it to the crowd. I think the whole festival is cheesy, but DD loves it. She is riding on the Hindman Lions Club float during the parade, so I am stuck going.

Jeff

It's probably a good thing that I don't like in Orlando. I'd be tempted to miss every day and go to the parks. Do you find yourself going in the evening and weekends alot? I would just go ahead and get Annual Passes and we would eat dinner somewhere in the World every night.

Oh thanks for reminding me! I want to look for the underwater one! We got some on the ship last time and I think they cost around $20 each! Ouch! I am gonna check at walgreens later today and see if they any.

For those looking for wth underwater single use cameras, we bought them at Walmart. I can't remember how much they cost, but I know that they were not in the $15.00 range. I am thinking they were about $8.00.

Thanks Gail, I will have to find me a Walmart when Im down there, oh and a Nordroms for my perfumes and then there is the school clothes I want to get for the kids...

Well it was like pulling a little kids teeth, but I got DH to finally pack. I swear I love that man with all my heart, but he drives me insane sometimes! I know that I over packed. I just know it. I have even gone back to my suitecase twice and taken stuff out. But with him I had to put clothes on the bed and ask him what he wanted to bring. With a half heart yes he was able to pack just enough. Why can't I have that kind of will power! :lmao: I'm jealous to the brink of insanity! :teeth: Oh well he's strong enough to carry my suitcases. :thumbsup2 God help me when I pack the shoes and makeup! :teeth:

I think it's a man thing. When I was married and we where going somewhere together, I could never get my husband to do his packing. I nagged him until he did it the first couple times we starting somewhere, and then I said no more of this. I packed him what ever I wanted him to have and when we got where we were going, he didn't dare complain about what he had to wear. My cousin fixed her husband. He wouldn't do his own packing and she had to pack for him every trip. She decided she was tired of doing this, so she bought them all matching outfits and didn't pack anything else. For every second of an entire trip, her DH had dressing in clothes that match her's. He absolutely refuses to even wear matching t-shirts at WDW. He almost died. From that time on he has done his own packing.

Okay guys. I have made a valiant effort, but I really do not see me hitting 1000 posts by next week. Has anyone else hit his or her goal?

I had 250 and made it but it was a pretty wimpy goal, 300 is my new one, thats about 28 to go...should be able to in a week....

I had a goal of 5000! I have a feeling that I won't make it by friday at noon! I have to work for the next two days. I wonder what the likelyhood of posting 250 times each day for the next 3 days is?! :teeth:

My goal was 270...wait a minute...I think I hit my goal...YEAH!!

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Are there only certain restaurants open for the party? We don't want to do a character dinner necessarily. We want to enter the park at 4pm, do some rides until about 6pm, then eat between 6 and 7pm. What restaurants are generally open then? It seems like, for the Christmas party, there were only 2 or 3 restaurants open, and no counter service.

I've thought about this too... Well, actually, I've thought about doing karate forms on the "secret" deck 7 deck early in the morning. I don't think I know enough yoga to actually drag myself through a flow without a teacher. :)
Nette, taekwondo? My kids do TKD..well we have been on a break since April..but my older 2 are at senior purple betls and my DS (7) is an green belt...we took a break for our cruise in May and summer vacation and now they dont want to get back into it! GRRR...after I have spent all that money so I am working on getting them interested in it again...esp the older 2 they are so close to black belt
