09/15/07 Early Check in September 15, 2007 Eastern

I got my first door sign made tonight:cool1: now I just need to buy magnetic paper to print it on.

Have I mentioned that I want my cabin number!!!!!!:rolleyes1 I am beginning to get very impatient.

Guess what guys?!?!?!?!?!?! I talked to DH last night about going to the parks again. I brought up renting a chair. We had never discussed or even considered that before JNorris and Pooh1960 had posted about it.
Now he is wavering on his initial decision!!!!!!!!!!!! :yay: He is considering going and getting a chair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

I also told him that he can just stay in the room and I will take DDs to the park with me for the day. ;) :rolleyes1

I will keep working on him.

That's great! My DH rented a scooter from a place down in Orlando, so we had it at the parks and at Shades of Green. There were a couple of times that he had to transfer out of the scooter for a wheelchair, and let me tell you, I would not want to be pushing him around in a wheelchair in the September heat in Florida! If you are only going to be at the parks one day, I'd consider paying a little more and getting a scooter. He even gave rides to DD and the other kids in our party. It was a big hit!

:cool1: yeah TLHB70... now he can relax and cruise. My knee is taking much longer than I expected to recover. I suspect it's because I'm not as young as I used to be. Some good days, some bad, but NEVER give up going to DW..........:wizard: Magic Kingdom here we come!

We are about 90% complete with our Fish Extenders......we made 3 of them and they're so cute:love: I'm glad that's about done, now to get started with the door decor.

:thumbsup2

Care scooter rental is a great place...We rented for 9 days in Feb from them...I think it was like $300 for 2 scooters for the whole time...They bring them directly to your resort, and then pick them up. We had a great experience with them. Not going to rent this time, because we are only there one day, and we are not sure how much of the parks Great grandma and Grandpa are going to do after a 7 night cruise.

I finished that last door sign a few days ago...they came out pretty good! Wal-mart has the magentic paper...I think 5 sheets for like $10. Thats the cheapest I found it.

Last Day At Sea Lunch!

I was just informed that we need to let the dining room manager know how many of us when we get onboard, and they will reserve tables for us...There are a restaurant choices... Topsider Buffet, Parrot Cay and Lumieres are all open for lunch...We can have lunch at any of these places? Any ideas?

Tina, personally I would like to do either Parrot Cay or Lumieres, as we usually do Topsiders for lunch normally.

Is this a "no kids" lunch? Because if Kelsey doesn't have anything else she wants to do, we would need to bring her with us. What are your girls planning?

Our reservation did not show the Stateroom number, but yesterday I went to DCL online to start the paperwork at "My On-Line Checkin" and :wizard: there at the bottom was our stateroom number. WOW was I surprised.:confused3 it still doesn't show on our reservation, but it is on the check in papers. I didn't have all the info on the 'check in portion' but it saves it and let's you continue on.

Hope this helps you too!

Im a survivor fan... I was wondering the same thing last night.:confused3

Dh is all done with all our mag door signs. I think he made 5 to 7 and a few for our DD and DSIL. They will be very surprised!

Lori... have you checked the DCL website for your room assignment, our DD got her's on the 11th for the sept8th cruise. So you might have something now.

You got me all excited, but I don't see it anywhere on my reservation, or the online check in page:confused: Oh well, I guess I will find out soon enough.

Yes, DH is a big fan of both. I think the new Survivor starts on the 20th. He was wondering if he would be able to watch it. That's Thursday night, and we are at sea, so I wouldn't think we would be able to get CBS. But it seems to me that in the past, the Survivor premiere is usually repeated on the Sunday after.

I guess he'll just have to live with it if he misses Big Brother. I tease him by calling it "his soap opera"!

Can someone please make sure that mine and Stephen's name is on the list for breakfast and lunch on this cruise. I can't remember who is arranging it. Honestly I can't remember much these days. Thank you.

I have meeting Tuesday through Friday night for work next week. Then a 3 day weekend. Back to work for 3 days and then I leave for Florida.

In two Friday's I will be in Florida.:woohoo: :dance3: :yay: :cool1:

Hope everybody is surviving all the wacky weather out there.

Hi everyone, cant believe it is only 3 weeks away :dance3: . I have been MIA and actually not really good about posting..sorry.

we just recently got back from a long vacation back home visiting our families and celebrating my Twin DD's 3rd birthday!! Every morning they wake up, they ask if we are going on the "mickey boat" today. We have never cruised before so everyone is just sooo excited along with starting preschool this coming Tuesday....things are crazy! They have never been away from me so I hope they do well at school and will be comortable leaving me to go to the oceaneers club and give Dh and I time alone:woohoo:

So, we are finally unpacked and ready to pack up again!!

Like I said Im new to this, sooo...can we tell what our dining rotation is yet? I know I have early seating, but not really sure about anything more than that. Like, formal or pirate night, etc. or what night I may want to skip for Palo...if by my some great chance I can get a reservation.

Do your little girls wear a princess dress every night to dinner? Oh, I will probably have a million more questions in the next couple of weeks...hope you all dont mind. TIA

Kelly

I dont know about surviving the wacky weather...this morning at 6am the wind was tough to paddle, but once we had 6 strong paddlers in a boat ...we flew:cool1:
At what hotel are you and Stephen going to be at? I know several of us are at the Hyatt at the airport.
