Just got back from a weekend spent at Six Flags St. Louis - Disney has spoiled us wayyyy to much as we are always comparing and Disney ALWAYS wins.....

Been catching up here and there but I have seen a few suggested meet times, etc. - is there more than just one? Would it make sense to post all the meet times, etc. in one place (i.e. the website that Lisa0503 has put together?). I figure if it is one place I can just print off (especially if there are multiple meets, etc.) - thoughts?

DURH - I just checked the site and see that there is a meet for 900am Monday at Cafe Cove - is that the only one?

Ah, Six Flags - we plan on hitting it when it is cooler and they are just open on weekends. I worked there during summers when I was in high school - always brings back great memories.

The Monday morning meet at the Cove Cafe was changed to 8:30 am, (thanks Kamy) who was indulging us to work with our schedule that day.

btw - the 3 pm meet on Sat. at the Mickey pool sounds great!

I am in pain , I have an infected nerve in my partial root canal, I went to the dentist this morning, they gave me some antibiotics. At least this forces me to go on a diet before my trip, as it hurts to eat. But I will be more upset if I cannot eat all of that good cruise food on the ship, and we got free dining at WDW. I will be mad not to be able to enjoy all of that! Hopefully it will get better!!

Bummer about the tooth Nikki. Let me know if you need someone to "step up to the plate" and eat your desserts on the cruise if you're not able.

It looks like we pretty much agree on a 3pm Mickey pool meet. Do we want to decide on an actual location by the pool so we are not all walking around and not finding each other. I remember last year when I had a meet in the lounge we all walked around not saying anything to each other for awhile before we all decided we were Disers. What about under the slide near the drink station maybe?

Are you going to have the Root canal finished before you leave? I am only asking because I work in a dental office as the office manager, but have been an assistant at times if needed. And I have seen this go both ways if its finshed before a trip...Some people have no problems and others have this unknown gas that builds up once its sealed and puts pressure on the tooth causing them alot of pain...we recommend that the tooth not be finished prior to a trip that is this close. We would rinse it out now while its infected and put you on antibiotics and then wait until after the infection is gone and finish the root canal when you returned. Dont want to see you in any pain for the cruise...and you should be able to eat all of your deserts if you take the antibiotics!!! Good Luck!

That is exactly what he did!! Thanks for your input too!! He gave me antibiotics for a week, and a refill, which I may get filled before we leave for WDW, just in case. He definately didn't want to do anything before I left, also because it is infected.

That was my concern too, being able to identify each other. I guess that's why other groups have done t-shirts ahead of time.

Under the slide seems like a good location. That would be right by Plutos Dog House, right?

Anyways, I keep seeing mention of "wristbands" and Bareacuda selling them. What are the wristbands for?

Also, when exactly is the official DIS meet? Is it at the terminal or is it the 3:00 at Mickey's pool?

The wristbands are just to identify our group, and they can be a great suvie from the cruise.They are DisBoard lime green. I may have a few extra, I can set aside 2 for you and your DH.The cost is $1.50 each.

No upgrade, we booked a GTY verandah and I did not even pick the category. It's nice to finally know.

Yes, please set aside two of the bracelets for me and my DH. This will be our first official DIS meet ever, so they will make for a fun keepsake. If you should run short, however, don't panic. I know we were a little late getting involved, so if we don't have one we'll just write DIS across our foreheads in green.

ok so i called DCL this afternoon to ask about the doc's. The lady I talked to said they HAVEN'T SENT THEM YET!!!!!!! That they would send them later in the week fedex 3 day to our TA. We are leaveing in 16 days I started to pack last night.

HI all, I have been following this thread, however this is the first time posting. Just wanted to let you know I called DCL today as I am getting impatient about my room. I booked a gty verandah and they had my room number 6150 Yeah. Now I feel it is offical. They told me docs will be sent this week.

Has anyone stayed in or near this room as I did not see a trip report. This is my first DCL cruise and am not sure if we got a good spot or not. Thanks for the help!

Welcome TYGGERJ !!!! I don't know about the room number, as this is our first Disney Cruise. We are practically right above you on deck 7. We won't make TOO much noise. ha ha!

We finally got our new digital camera. Now I just need to figure out how to use it quickly. So much to do, and I blew off the day taking dd to see "Acrtic Tale". Was cute, a little preachy (global warming). Anything with polar bears in it is good for me!
