Kamy already answered your questions about dress. I will say that for pirate night I bought my two DDs (ages 9 and 12 at cruise time) pirate costumes. I, on the other hand, will wear black capri pants with a white button up polo style shirt. I have black jewelry and black pumps to wear with that. I figure this is something I can wear again but will still fit in with the pirate theme.........or so I hope..........

Just checking in to say hi. I have been busy working. I started a new job on July 2nd and now have about an hour commute each way every day. Plus I am still working occasionally at my old job.

Can't wait for September. Hope all of you are doing well.

Hello fellow DISers. Geez, miss a few days and miss a ton! Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers for my great-grandmother. Her service was a wonderful celebration of her life.

I'm really looking foward to the cruise now! Less than 2 months and counting. I'll have to find some good reading material for the cruise...I finished the newest Harry Potter at 1:30 this morning...I am such a geek.

We got our fabric for our Fish Extenders yesterday. I had been putting it off because I did not know what I wanted to do but since we are now decorating our doors, we wanted to theme our fish extenders into it. My sister and I have connecting rooms so we are having our doors and fish extenders theme together.

Also, don't forget to send me a pm if you are planning to decorate your doors.

What activities are actually happening on this cruise. I know we talked about a pj breakfast, mickey bar eating contest, lunch, meet on embarkation day, etc. But do any of these activities actually have a set date, place and time? Details for these may exist but I couldn't find them. Thanks for your help.

$40.oo for water???? On the EB repo it was $24.00 !!!! Holy Cow... what an up grade.

Good morning everyone!! I am so tired this morning...got up at 4:30am and been up ever since
We adopted a puppy from a rescue group this weekend (yes, we are nuts! ) so now I got two kids, three dogs to take care of, not counting my dh!!! I am gonna post a pic of him so, puppy not dh!
We need help with a name and I know my dis friends can help! We narrowed it down, so when you see his pic, you can give your suggestions...if you dont mind!
I still cant believe we adopted another rescue....but I am glad...he is sweet, just doesnt want to let me sleep!
By cruise time I will really need this break!!!

I have to go out to Target today to buy a few things. I plan to go ahead and stock up on more sunscreen to have for the cruise. I am worried that the selection might be low by September so I figure I will go ahead and buy it today. Right now we have been using Banana Boat Sport spray SPF 30 or 35. However, it goes on really greasy. I am going to go ahead and finish the bottle, but it will not last until September. Does anyone have a good sunscreen that really works well that you recommend? I want a good one, not greasy, spray on preferred. Since we will be out all day in the Caribbean sun it needs to really work well. Any suggestions?????

I guess I have never seen Ocean Potion. Where do you buy it? Do you like it? You said DH likes it. What about you? Is it greasy at all? Does it come in spray? I have seen Aveeno. Have you used it? Did you like it?
I would love one that lasts a long time so that we don't have to reapply every hour.

Yeah, he is precious....but noisy right now...but all puppies are. Thanks for your vote for Patch. We thought that too, but didnt want it to not sound "disney" enough! LOL!!

I like Aveeno because you dont have to reapply so much. As for me, I prefer lotion to spray, so I am not sure about the sprays. Ocean Potion is inexpensive and I have seen it around...places like Walmart, Rite Aid....not sure about Target. We first bought it in Florida on vacation and we like it. It feels fine to us and smells nice. Our sunscreen drama was with the kids...no matter what it seemed we had to reapply every 20 minutes! But we are using Banana Boat lotion in a tube now and it seems to work better for them than the Coppertone waterbabies spray...we will see!!!
