09/15/07 Early Check in September 15, 2007 Eastern

We have the black Mickey Crocs and LOVE them!!!! I will wear my crocs all day! LOL!

Heather- great about the design! Tell your sis thanks!:thumbsup2

Lisa- not sure what you have for us, but we have Palo dinner Sunday, brunch on Thursday, Dh and I are doing the Rhino Rider excursion in StMarteen and we are doing the Paradise Point Tramway in St thomas (on our own, not the excursion). Hope that helps with the updates!!! And thanks for taking care of the site.
Oh yeah, we are going to participate in the Fish Extender thing too!! My aunt already hit the dollar store and scored some awesome trinkets!:cheer2:

I will thank my sister now but you will all have the chance. She is coming on the cruise with us. She might be lurking a little on here but she is really busy person. She works for a law firm by day as a secretary/paralegel, by night she works for Michael's, for the Angel company and helps manange her husbands band. She does not work as an artist but she was excepted into the Art Institue of Chicago. She did not take the offer but she is still the craftiest person I know. We are decorating our doors. We have connecting rooms and we are going to theme them together. Our ideas are pretty cool and we have only just begun.

Lisa, the site looks great. Thanks for adding our excursion, also, we have Palo for 9pm on Wednesday.

Lisa - We have Palo dinner Wednesday at 6:30 pm. Thanks so much!

Cricketgrammy - Definitely go for it! I am more from the (early) 80's, but love the tie-dyed look, especially in a dress. :goodvibes

I haven't done any shopping for myself yet - still trying to get off a few pounds. They say slow and steady wins the race, yes? Wish I was more of a hare!! :rotfl2:

I also found some Disney fonts at http://www.disneyexperience.com/fonts.html

Only 58 days to go till we leave for FL!!! I made a countdown and put it on our fridge. It has each day and you tear one off until we leave! I am so cheesy!:cloud9:

I bought a Mickey Christmas calendar at WDW in 2005. I dont think it's ever counted down for Christmas.. it our count down for CRUISES!!!:rotfl2:
Ohh... and it hangs by my front door!:lmao: Talk about cheesy:banana:

Lisa, the web site/roster looks great! Thanks for all of your hard work!
I booked Joyce Prince private tour for St. Maarten and Henry Christopher, EEE Tours, for St. Thomas. I will get those links for you so you can add them to the private tours link.

Windy City Heather, I am excited to see what you and your sister come up with to decorate! That will be fun! If someone posts a poster pattern, I will definitely try to do something to my door. Honestly, I am not creative at all! I hate to say it, but I have no artistic bone in my body. If I get some direction, though, I can try. I would love to have a pattern to print off. I can do that. :rolleyes1 :upsidedow

Hello all. Just popping in to say I might be AWOL for a bit. My great-grandmother passed away on Friday. I was at her side, holding her hand and talking to her, which was rather rough but very peaceful for her. My family is having a rather rough time dealing with things, so if you could send some good wishes their way to get through the funeral on Wednesday, it would be much appreciated. Hope to get back on soon.

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
I just wanted you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers today.

57 days till we leave!!!

Anyone else already thinking about your NEXT cruise???
I am such a planner....already have our next two WDW trips booked...gotta do that with DVC....but I am already working on the next cruise...well, we gotta rebook onboard....so that is part of the planning for this trip! LOL!:thumbsup2

Has anyone started packing yet??:lmao:

I have!!!! :cool1: I actually did alot of shopping for my 'birthday gifts" from my husband so I now have several new outfits that I am saving for the cruise....

Speaking of which, does anyone else shop for gifts for themselves from their husbands or I am in the minority??? One Christmas I wanted a particular Lands End Diaper Bag for Christmas so I ordered online for my husband to give to me then I even wrapped it, labeled it and put it under the tree... :rotfl2: My husband really doesn't like shopping so he is perfectly happy to let me just get what I want for holidays so he doesn't have to stress over shopping and I get what I really want... I think it sounds aweful but it works for us...

LIsa- Those are my favorite "gifts" from my hubby. We have been married 11 years, and I have probably done my own shopping 75% of the time.

Kamgen- I am bringing my suitcases down from my attic this weekend!:goodvibes I have made my lists for clothes for whole family for dinner, and most of the clothes for my DD for WDW and DCL. I am so OCD!! LOL I also have a large bin for other stuff we are taking on the trip(toiletries, special outfits- gotten especially for our trip). My DH thinks I am crazy.

I am glad to know I am not the only one that does ALL the shopping for my hubby!!! :thumbsup2

FYI....I made more updates to the website this morning so if you have sent me a change (or posted something on the thread) it should be on the website now. If I missed something or need to add/change anything let me know.

DH likes to pick out a thing or 2 for me but he would much rather I get what I want. We don't do alot of presents though. Our presents to each other are all the trips we take.

DH asked the other day if he could start laying stuff out yet for the cruise. I told him "NO". He does this all the time. We would have to keep the door shut to our guest room all the time if I let him start packing this early. We take too many small trips and stuff would be laying out for months if I let him get away with this. I have to keep him from being too anal.......:rotfl2:

No physical packing for me yet. Just putting together my list.

Is anyone going to be shipping stuff down to the port? I would really like to ship some bottled water since DBF and I drink like fish. :fish:

I'm also thinking of writing a trip report. Anyone else?

Lisa- for our excursions
St. Thomas- Coral World- on our own
St. Thomas- through DCL

Also, when we booked my nephew- a little over a week ago, DCL told me we had to put him on late dining. Now we are on early dining, he is 6, I know he won't be eating alone LOL, but do we just go to the dining mgr?? how do we fix this?

I think your and my parties were going to be linked up for dining. Hopefully you will still get to go to early seating...:)

Yeah, me too!! When I called they said, we were still on early, but he was on late. Poor little guy, anyone on late dining want to sit with my cute 6 yo nephew??? LOL:rotfl:

I am seriously thinking of sending a package to port ahead of time - mainly for dd's princess dresses (she loves the "pouf" factor) and perhaps water or some vino? My stupid question is, how do you get your box off the ship when you leave? Even though it may not be as heavy, can/do you take two trips out? Do you have a porter take it? I think we are going to be parking our rental car at port. :confused3

Right now we arent planning on shipping anything, but we are going to buy things in FL instead of packing them...like diapers and baby food! Could you imagine packing enough diapers for two kids for 13 days?!?!?!:scared1:
