anyone with teens going :[[
)Our family will be driving in on Friday so we will be staying at a hotel in the area Friday night. We have looked at several and still are undecided.
Are any of you staying at hotels in the area the Friday night before the cruise? If so, which one?
It would be neat if we would be at the same hotel.
Right now we have it narrowed down to:
Holiday Inn on Cocoa Beach (We are Priority Club members so we could stay here for free. Then we would only have to pay for the shuttle. However, I have read some reviews that aren't so favorable. So.......)
Hampton Inn at Cocoa Beach (We are also Hilton Honors members. We love staying at Hampton Inn, but this one would not be free like Holiday Inn.)
Crowne Plaza at Melbourne (Again, we could stay here for free. It is a nice hotel. However, we would drive from NC past Cape Canaveral to get there. Therefore it is a longer drive, and we would have to back-track then pay/park at port.)
So we are still undecided. We have even considered the Radisson. We stayed there before our last cruise. I was not happy about a few of the things that happened with their service so we will probably not stay there again.
We are actually staying the night at wilderness lodge (we own DVC there). I know that doesn't help....
If you are thinking of buying into DVC, why don't you try renting a villa for that Friday night from a DVC member. That way you would get to try it before you buy....Oh, how wonderful! I just got the information packet in from DVC yesterday. I am trying to convince DH that we need to buy!!!!!!
