09/15/07 Early Check in September 15, 2007 Eastern

Yup... you can bet on it.. that the time will fly by!

On my list to get done before the cruises:

Lose 5-10 lbs:wizard:
Work on my tan
Read the 3 books I received for Christmas
WORK on losing the 5-10 lbs:wizard:
Make all my appointments for my hair cuts and waxings and for my nails.:rolleyes1
Build a private patio and the big patio in the front yard.
And... paddle 3 days a week...:boat:
race at Tempe Town Lake(PHX)
At least one more race in California.

Ok... I think that will keep me busy till the cruise!:rotfl2:
I forgot... go to Disneyland for my b-day in 10 days!!!:woohoo:

Now.. what's going to keep you busy till the cruise???

Ann

Work, Work, and more work. I also would love to lose a few pounds, get a tan, and make some home improvments. With needing to pay for the cruise I don't think we will be doing the home improvments. Oh Well. The time still will not go fast enough.

Anyone on this cruise booked on the East Bound Repo Cruise in 2008 besides us?

Welcome to all the newbies!;) I seem to be off the boards for a few days and we got a bigger group! YIPPEE!:cool1:

Bareacuda- I got a list too...but I wish I only had 5-10lbs to lose!:sad2: My list includes:
lost 50-60lbs:crazy2:
get a tan:beach:
save money to spend on the ship:goodvibes
go shopping for great new cruise clothes:laundy:
find time to get some rest:faint:

I will think of more soon!

Sorry Jan!! I was just muttering on about nothing in particular.

Hotwire- we are in Florida for four days and I was going to use hotwire and hopefully find something really really cheap until the cruise. But then I heard about the free dining and the value hotels (fingers crossed....so really how do I pass that up?) So I am in the panic zone. Pop Centure...how does one get to the ship?

Ships wheel in my pants.... My boyfriend always says "It's like a ships wheel in my pants" *said with the best sailor accent you can then say "Its driving me nuts" It would be better for a boy to say because well...some girls don't have those parts...

Thanks for the welcome everyone!!

Guess I am dense--stilll don't get the reference to a wheel..why a wheel?..... maybe i don't want to know:rolleyes2

FREE DINING????? details please~!!
Jan :earsgirl:

OMG!!! I just got the "wheel "Joke:lmao: :lmao: :sail:

Under all this red hair are blonde roots!:rotfl:

Yup..... "Free Dining " included in the price of your cruise:idea:

Kami... you still have lots of time to take off that weight, you just had a baby. So hows he doing???

Ann

Ann- I know....it just seems like I am gonna run out of time! LOL! Liam is doing well and getting so big. He still doesn't sleep through the night, so i am exhausted. And Ryan loves his little brother...but wants to play with him and cannot grasp why he won't catch the ball! LOL!:lmao:

In a life long long ago, I walked in our local mall for all my exer"size" in the winter! I had 10 to 15 other moms who joined us 3 days a week.

My babies slept thru the night when they were 18 months old! That's 4 1/2 years:rotfl: without sleep !!!

Babies grow so quickly and change in looks just as fast! He'll be a big bundle when we all meet on this cruise! Perhaps Ryan needs a ball on a string... so the ball can come back and not of Liam's forehead! Oh... I remember those days!:goodvibes

Ann,
Thanks for the ball of string idea!:goodvibes
As for sleep, dh and I are heading for a long weekend up north ALONE on Feb 16...my mom is watching the boys!!!:cool1: So we will definitely be able to sleep more uninterrupted! This will be our first time away from them, so we are nervous and excited!

Well it is official now...

... we have transferred our booking to the east bound repo in 2008. It is a whole year further away - but we justified it on the basis that we are gonna take this year's cruising budget and roll it into the 15 day trip in 2008.

We regret having to withdraw here - but as we said earlier - this also affords us a chance to allocate all of our time to being with our FIL in case his chemo does not work. He has survival estimates slightly above 50% so we just have to wait a few months to see how it turns out. Either way this year seems difficult to plan for. All kinds of things have been zig zagging with decisions to accept chemo and then refuse to start. Plus other issues. So for the moment we have shifted our thinking into 2008.

Maybe we will rejoin a sailing in 2007 ... if all goes well ... maybe we can get a last minute "special" on something DCL has that's undersold. Our first DCL sailing was just such a deal 4 years ago. Or maybe we'll rejoin this sailing as we like to do something in September every year for our anniversery. So we'll have to just wait and see how things evolve.

We bid you all a pleasant journey. Of course, we all know that every Disney cruise is a blast though! Once we had a 7 nite "special" eastern voyage on DCL disrupted by a hurricane... it was cut to 4 nites and we still had a really grand time! So we know from experience that it is true.

Cheers,

From Tom, Alicia, Julianna and Kalea

We said no... too $$$$$ for us this time.:teacher:

Dh and I talked about it long and hard for days:confused3 ... we decided to do a road trip and see the west.... Redwoods, Yellowstone, and the Grand Canyon(like we havent see it before) and a possible a few days in San Diego. :beach: 2009 is looking like Hawaii for a few weeks. DCL will see us again in 2010:scared1:

And our half vacations are going to be Disneyland, Sea World or just heading to the beach with our OC2.

Oh but I wish we had TONS of money..we long ago decided that if Disney did a Panana cruise again we would book it. So since we can only pull off one right now we have cancelled our back to back. It was nice being excited with a great group of people all anxious for the same cruise.I wish you all a great cruise ..sharon and jm

Captain, Janet and I are thrilled that you and your family will be cruising on the August 08. We have booked as well. See you then.

Tough decision. It's one I hope not to need to make. We will see how much money I can save. I want it all.

CaptainCrash

Was looking forward to seeing you again but family comes first. I wish your FIL all the best for a successful recovery. Your family will be in my prayers.

Well that is sad news that you will not be cruising with us but it is great news that you were able to book the Repo. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers with the chemo treatment.

Godspeed,
Jennifer

captaincrash, I am so disappointed that your family won't make it on this voyage. Even though I am not a frequent poster, I feel like I really have gotten to know you and your wonderful family. I know it is for the best, and think you made the wise decision. Best of luck to all of you. :)
