I am so excited about this week coming up because we will be leaving for Disney on February 6 and arriving on the 7th. I cannot wait. I do need a vacation! I hope the weather is nice.

It is so darn cold here...22 right now, which is warm for some of you. But I am tired of winter now. DH's birthday is 2/2...groundhog's day. That darn groundhog better give me a good report...no shadow...good old Punxatawny Phil. We have lots of groundhog kings around PA and they will be on the news on Monday. DH is 25 days older than I am. Two years ago we had a trip planned for my 56th birthday...and I was so excited. Two days prior to our flight, I had an upper GI bleed...can you believe it? I ended up in the hospital instead. I was so upset. And then when I got out, I was trying to figure out how we could get down there...DH was going nuts...no WDW for me that birthday, and none this birthday now that I got my new knees!

Hurry up spring!

I go back to work MOnday, and I am not looking forward to it. Wish me luck.

My daughter had a friend spend the night, so I'm off to make some Belgium waffles for everyone. The kids have a sledding party this afternoon and then we all have my niece's first birthday party after that. I have piles of stuff here that I'm trying to get listed on eBay, but its taking forever. Perhaps always running these kids all over that place has something to do with that!

Wow, have we been talkative today!!!! Go shopping for a little while and look at you all. Way to go on the and the .

I wish I were having those waffles this morning. We had no food, hence the shopping trip, lol.

It was nice a warm day, for us, today. Got up to the 40's. Lots of melting going on.

Wish I lived closer to Chicago for those events you were talking about Flo. We live at least 8 hours away. Quite a drive for the weekend. But please, let us know when they have events.

Those are the only stores I go to with one exception. I go to target allot. We have a super one by us. I only go to the Mall when I go to the DVC store at Woodfield. To many people.

Flo - we don't have a Target in our hometown. Just a Wal-Mart. We have to go about 25 miles away to get to Sam's, Target, K-Mart, Best Buy, a Mall, etc. We live out in the sticks.

Brooke's BB game went great. They won! They haven't had that good of a season. They try real hard but can't seem to make baskets. It seems like we can shoot, and shoot, and shoot, at the basket and never make it. But the other teams can shoot just like our girls and make it! I don't get it. I think the ball has a special magnet in it for the other teams. Or, maybe, our girls just need to practice shooting more. But they won last night and it was fun. Brooke has definitely improved since the first of the season. She is much more agressive. And it seems that 7th Grade BB has become a contact sport! Some nights it gets pretty rough out there. Just a couple more games for the season though. Then we have to wait until Spring for softball to start. Yay!!! I love softball.

Well, need to start supper. The gang is getting restless!

I will admit I am spoiled. I have every kind of store that I can get to at the most 15 minutes. The Target, Sam’s and Wal-Mart are about 5 minutes the most away.

I bet the kids felt good yesterday. I used to tell my DS as long as you try your best that is all that matters.

Well I'm back from our crop. We had a great time and I got 14 pages done. So all of Vegas 2007 is done! I got to learn a new technique that I love and I got to help my girlfriend with her pages. She only did 4 but they are beautiful! One other girl only did one page but she's brand new and only brought a few pictures. The other two girls got about 8 pages done each but they do lots and lots of layering...very detailed. Mine are much more basic.

We even stopped for pizza for lunch and cake in the late afternoon. All in all a fun day and we plan on doing it again.

Flo it does sound like you are centrally located. We also live close to some malls, but we don't have the Disney Doorway store. It must be nice to be able to hear any offers other than on the members cruise as we do.

They had a great time! They had a sledding party this afternoon and it was perfect weather. It was almost 30 degrees which seemed downright balmy compared to our usual frigid temps. But there was still plenty of snow to frolick in.

Then right from there we went to my niece's first birthday party which was much more low-key. Of course my nephew conned me into taking him home with me so now I have an extra kid for the night. I've had extra kids all weekend!

I go back to work MOnday, and I am not looking forward to it. Wish me luck.

Mary - this sounds like such a great day. I'm so glad that you are surrounded with such wonderful friends right now. I'm sure their support means a great deal. And working on scrapbooks seems like the perfect activity to keep your mind off other things.

Sounds like everyone has had a great day. I did the Laundry , shopping (groceries) went to the car show. I just don't seem to see a car that I like. At least one that fits my budget.
