Here in Delaware....it was 60 degrees today....I still have my windows open....go figure... I know it won't last...but loving it while it does!!!

Got off a little earlier today so I'm actually home when my train would normally be pulling in. At least it wasn't raining or snowing today so I got to enjoy my time outside at lunch. I also found out who I'm secret santa to at work so I was able to pick up some of the gifts for that.

Good morning everyone - happy Thursday!

Looks like it is going to be another nice clear day here in Chicago. Still cold but not too bad (in the teens) and with no rain or snow in the forecast I'm happy.

Judge says court is ending early today but I don't know if that is 10 minutes early (like last night) or hours early. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I'd love a few hours off so I can do some cleaning around here for my girlfriends coming over this weekend. We'll see!

Dave (& Tanya) - Congrats on the and . I hope you don't have the ice storm like you said. Our roads still aren't the best but they are improving. Supposed to get flurries here this afternoon. Highs in the 20's.

Mary - hope you get out real early from jury duty today. Hopefully it is an interesting case so you aren't bored.

Well, tomorrow me and my sister are going Christmas shopping. Hopefully we will be able to finish it up so I don't have to go out any more. I still have to take the girls to see ! They hate this. But I have to have my picture of them with the big guy. We have been getting there picture with him every year since 1997 and I put them around a ceramic christmas tree my Grandma made. It is fun to go back and see how cute they were and how afraid of him they were when they were young.

So, I won't be able to get back on until Monday morning when I come to work. So to everyone. . . Have a Great Weekend and be safe!!!!!!

He is off tomorrow so we are going to spend the day together. We are gong to go to the casino in Elgin (right around the corner) tomorrow. He has never been there and I have not been there in years. Then we are going to go to lunch. They have a great buffet.

I just heard from her - they're getting off at 2-something and I'm picking her up at the 3:00 train, vs the 5:30 one, so give us a bit more time to make sure we're ready for company at home.

As far as interesting.. I wouldn't know about the case itself as I've been avoiding discussing it with her so as to not muddy her opinion. However, she has mentioned they are spending a lot of the time in the break room reading up on the Gov mess, so my guess not so much.

Actually it's been raining here most of the day, also some sleet & freezing rain. My car was coated in ice when I came out of school. Not sure what's happening outside now but they're predicting losts of icing & power outages. Hope it's not a repeat of 1998.
