Hi everyone. Just a quick check in to say Happy Holidays. Busy here. Just finished audit and board meeting. Everything went well. Got 8 inches of snow at my house 2 days ago. Started drill team competitions last weekend for our daughter Jamie.

The good news is we are headed to Maui for Christmas so will be spending the holidays there!

Yippee, next best thing to being on a Disney ship!

I did get off early yesterday so was able to relax a little and get a little cleaning done here at home. Still have a lot to go and will do that tonight.

Hello Everyone!

“My DS said “Thanks” to all that wished him a Happy Birthday.

We had a great time today! We went to the Casino early. We left are donations and went to the buffet they have. Now I stuffed. I want to take a nap. Since it was his B Day they gave him a present. It was a duffle bag and a nice one at that.

We then went to Sams and Wal Mart and window shopped. Now we are home. But all in all it was a great day. Now that he is older and working we don’t get to do this often. I miss that, but I guess we must let them grow up.

Had a busy day today. Mike's mom, her husband, and Mike's brother met us first thing in the morning and we spent the day at The Holyland Experience. It was actually pretty good! Mostly educational with a side of cheesy.
Then we ate at Buca de Beppo and came home and celebrated Christmas.

Now I'm ready to curl up with a book in bed.

Flo - sounds like you had a great time celebrating your son's birthday. Did you go to the Grand Victoria casino? I haven't been to that one in ages.

Karen - sounds like you had a fascinating day as well yesterday. Sounds like you are celebrating Christmas a number of times this year. Have fun!

Flo - to answer your question I'm not sure if it colder or warmer downtown. I do know I'm much colder walking the 8-10 blocks from the train station to the court than I would be walking the 100 feet or so from my parking spot to my office.

Yes, we went to the Grand Victora Casino. It is 5 minutes from the house. It has been many years since I went to. It still looks the same but they now have 1 ,2 5 and 10 slots. The last time I went they did not have any of this. They also put a real nice park and townhomes next to the casino. The park was all decorated for the holidays. Bet it was pretty at night. Not sure if I would want to live in those townhouses there. It will probibly be another couple years before I go again. What was funny is my DS had to go to a different line. If you are under 30 they put your licence through a reader to make sure it is not fake.

Yeah back when I went they didn't have anything under 25 cents for the slots. I made the mistake of going on a Wednesday which is usually a day senior groups go and I had a hard time finding a 25 cent machine. Thought I finally found one and no one was at it. Put my quarter in and it went through. Did this 4-5 times before I realized it was a 25 dollar machine not a 25 cent machine. Needless to say I moved on fast.

Well the house is all ready and they should be here in about 1 1/2 hours. Only regret is I had to buy desserts instead of making them. Just didn't have the time.

I am with you I would be moving real fast to. I just don't understand how people plays those. at $25.00 a pull you loose 100.00 in minutes. Not me.

Holy moly! I can't imagine having so much money that you could throw $25 into a machine for one play. When my DH and I went to the Bahamas, we budgeted ourselves $10/day to gamble with . Major players we're not.

Well my little get together yesterday was a nice success. Now i have a clean home and day for just Mark and I. I do have to stop by work this morning and drop off my secret Santa gifts so they can be given out tomorrow and Tuesday if I'm not back yet.

I have lots of laundry to do but that is it. Looking forward to a relaxing day.

I've added the deck plans to the gallery. Now when you are looking at the picture gallery you'll notice that the cabin numbers are hyperlinks. Click on cab number and it will take you to a deck plan of that deck. You'll see the DIS cabins are highlighted in lime green and there is a mini gallery showing who is on your floor. Now you can see who your neighbors are!
