Good morning everyone - happy Tuesday! Quiet evening on the thread last night. No new posts. Everyone must be getting ready for the Thanksgiving holiday. So what is everyone doing for the holiday

For us we'll have a quiet one at home for just the two of us. Then we'll put the tree up. Friday I'm off but I won't be hitting the stores (not my thing) instead I'll be decorating the house.

We will go by my cousin that is only about 4 min away. i don't like going any were far on holidays.

I will go out on Friday but not in the morning with crazy people. It will be later in the day. We will also put are tree up. BUt we get a real one so we will go to home depot and get it.

We are actually staying at a Hilton down in Melbourne the night before the cruise. We had points for a free night and we have stayed there before and love it. All the rooms face the Ocean and it is so peaceful. And we have friends that live in Sebastian and they come up to visit with us. Plus we like to stop at Ron Jon's to look around before heading up to the cruise. After the cruise we are actually looking at staying at the Polyensian (sp) for a few nights. Never stayed there before and have always wanted to and with no kids, we might go for it. If not, we will probably stay at SSR.

That sound like allot of fun. Free night can't beat that to.

Everyone must be getting ready for the Thanksgiving holiday. So what is everyone doing for the holiday?

Our Thanksgiving is pretty quite too. It will consist of my family of 4, my sisters family of 4 and possibly two of our Aunts. That's it. Our parents go to Texas for the winter so they are not around. We do the traditional stuff, turkey, ham, and all the fixin's. Yummo. Can't wait.

Sounds like a great Thanksgiving dinner.

We are staying at the Boardwalk Villas the day before the cruise and 2 days after the cruise. Can't wait!!!!!!

We're staying at Boardwalk 2 nights before the cruise and 2 nights after the cruise. Got a Boardwalk view for both!

As much as I want to stay at the Port, the way everyone is talking about Boardwalk we may have to stay there. I have always wanted to stay there. The points are not bad. I also wanted to stay at the Polynesian we are going to stay there next December. I love DVC. I would not be staying at those places with out them.

Well ... Just stopping by to say Hi to all I had the disney withdrawal blues so I had to book my next trip this coming Jan to bring my son down so he can start the Disney College Program. And since I am going there I might as well stay the week . My wife couls not let me go without her as you can imagine so off we go!

Thanks to everyone who sent well wishes. I am hopeful I will feel better soon but don't think this procedure worked. It's been a long 18 months!

Any way, wishing everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday. If you will be doing any Black Friday shopping, be careful with leaving packages in your vehicles. There have been several car "smash & grabs" in our area lately. I don't bother going out that day but may need to order a few items from the comfort of my recliner!

We are staying at BCV for one night before and two nights after the cruise.

Ok Guys! I tried. Radisson will not budge on the rate of 129.00. I told them there is a group coming in at the end of October that got 109.00 rate and they told me impossible, that they see nothing. So the only 109.00 rate you can get according to them is the one that is on line and you have to book it and pay for it right away. Sorry!

It looks like we will be staying at WDW the night before on points.

We had a celebration yesterday and got some good news. We are getting out at 3 today and have Friday off. We also found out yesterday that our office will close early on December 24 & 31 plus we will get the day after Christmas off too! This is all due to the company I work for being recognized as America's highest rated health plan by US News & World Report for 4 years (or is it 5) in a row!
