Plus, we need to go see the BIL sometime today too. The gals I work with got him a prayer shawl from their church. What a nice thing for them to do, and we need to give it to him before he goes up to Mayo Clinic for 6 weeks.

THanks, Flo, I thought I should update my pics since they are 2 years old...so I put up our latest trip with Makayla and Nicholas. Isn't Nick just adorable? He was so so sick when he came from Russia, and I was afraid he would die. He is so healthy now, and happy. And people always ask us if he and Makayla are twins...no...sister and brother? no...cousins yes.
They just love each other. Makayla always says she is going to marry him when she grows up..too cute.

She says that pain is about the same - not better and not worse. So I'm not sure what that means. She has an appointment with the specialist tomorrow morning so I will know more then.

Kelly, that picture of her with the dog was priceless...they both looked so sad.. Hope she gets a good report from the doc and can back back into all of her dance activities.

DH has bronchitis...refuses to take off work...but has over a year of sick time accumulated...so he goes to work and gives it to everyone else. I finally convinced him to go to the doc and I had to make the appointment. ARG

Hope everyone's having a good day, here's your update.

I had a good visit with Mary at lunch. But she's bored.

So, you can tell how better she is. She was told by her doctor the only reason they're keeping her in at this point is for one of the medications. She's on a product called Coumadin which suppresses blood clotting and they have to get the dosage right, too little and it won't provide any clot protection, too much and open wounds won't stop bleeding. As of right now the blood tests are not showing high enough levels, so, we wait.
