Very quiet around here, hope all is well with everyone, hagn
Good Morning Everyone - especially Dave!!
Ditto on the TGIF! Wow - it is chilly this morning. I actually turned on the heat this morning just to take the chill out of the house. It's about 49 outside!I love the fall but wow it's coming fast.
Dave -
Do you have all of your plans set for Christmas at WDW? All of your ADRs made? Are you going to the Very Merry Christmas Party?
Good morning everyone! Just like on board Dave is the first one up for coffee club.
Fall is really here in Chicagoland now. So glad I swapped out my closet on Sunday and put away the Summer stuff and pulled out the Fall/Winter clothes. I'm wearing cords and a sweater to work this morning.
Happy October!I think that we definately missed summer here. Went from spring to fall in a hurry and winter is fast approaching. I would love to be sittin on the beach at Castaway Cay right now...feet in the sand...fruity drink in hand. Ohhhh how nice it would be to be warm right now. Ahhh all my body feels is the frost of winter knocking on the door. =(
Your post reminds of the song I love right now. I can't remember which band it is but the chorus is " Got my toes in the water, A@@ in the sand, not a worry in the world, a cold beer in my hand, life is good today. Life is good today!" Love that song!![]()
Sue-Yes we have transportation all set and our rooms. We don't use the ADR plans at all, we usually eat lunch at the Parks and cook a dinner in the room. We will be trying to get into the Magic Kingdom Christmas morning early, although I hear they reach capacity by 8am. We are going down with a local family that we camp with in the summer, so it should be fun for the kids as well.

I forget where you said you were staying?
Going with friends is fun (most of the time). It usually works out great - we took friends down once and the two parents ended up having a huge argument that made the rest of the trip a little tense - but the kids had a blast!!
We are staying at AKV Kidani, our friends are at Coronado Springs. Hopefully we don't have any nightmares like thatI hope I don't meltdown because of the crowds, I usually like my space.
I still have to do our ADR's for Nov/Dec. Not that we have that many but there are a few things we want to do and one of them is to book the Candlelight Processional. It wouldn't seem like the holiday season without it.
I definately treasure our get togethers on deck 9. What a great way to start the day. I don't know how some of you did it though because you always had great stories about the night before and things that happened after I went to bed.
Guess we're big chickens because we've had our heat on for a while now. Mostly for some of the cold overnights we've had.
Sounds like a fun Christmas!
Dave have you been chatting with the group for your Transatlantic voyage?
Mornin' Gang!
It is chilly, rainy, drab and just plain icky here too! Only going to be in the low 50's today. Sorry Sue, I'm with Dave, wait till the very last minute for the heat to go on. Don't want to start that too early! It will make winter come faster. Don't ya think? Sounds good to me anyway.
I hope you like Kidani Dave. That resort just doesn't impress me (sorry to those who love it). Growing up in the midwest and smelling manure all the time, I just don't want to go smell exotic animal dung while on vacation. Ick. I'm sure you guys will have a great time no matter what.
When we were at Disney after the cruise our friends stayed at Coronado Springs. What a pretty resort. One night we went back there and sat at the outside bar right by the little lake at a little table and had a couple drinks. It was really neat cuz it was lightning out - off in the distance - and we could hear the fireworks from EPCOT. Pretty cool.
Boy, I'm pretty talkative this morning. Sorry!
Have a great day everyone!![]()
Chris-That cracks me up...smellin' dung I think I will name our adventureQuestion for you, at Coronado are they hotel style rooms or are there any more amenities.

I would like to do the processional as well, as for coffee club meetings it doesn't get any better.
Mary- I go on that thread, but it seems tough to get active. So many people have sailed together before and it seems like they are very involved together, if that makes sense??
